That looks pretty cool. I'm using this:
Logitech Extreme Pro 3D
It works well, though it doesn't have all the available buttons of a true HOTAS setup so I do use some easy to reach keyboard commands for non-life and death functions.
I've had to do a little adjustment for my (very) recent foray into combat though.
Yeah, I try to keep any buttons that have time-sensitive functions on my HOTAS. I have an Oculus on order so recently I re-mapped a LOT of stuff onto my setup since I will be basically blind IRL. Targeting, pips, menu controls, menu selector for all 4 menus, weapon groups, wingmate selection, boost/reverse, chaff/shield-cell, FA toggle... All usable without removing my hands from the controls. HOTAS is a tremendous advantage over a flight-stick.
I have the Thrustmaster Warthog (like $500) but I part of me wishes I would have just settled for the "T-16000"
I purchased a Thrustmaster 16000m with a throttle. It's arriving in the mail today. It was on sale at Amazon:

I was using a controller and I think that was just getting me killed.
I often forget to change the pips from weapons when I don't have the enemy in front of me. I spend a lot of time spinning and looking for my target. All the while, I'm getting shot to bits. There's definitely a learning curve.
