Answer: Short answer: yes

Long answer: The headphones come with a USB receiver and an optical cable that plug into the console. The Xbox one and original PS4 have optical slots but the PS4 slim does NOT have one. The headphones come with a small and easy to follow instruction booklet to help with the set up.

If you have a PS4 slim, get a longer optical cable and hook it to your TV. Your PS4 Slim will send audio to TV via HDMI, then the TV will send it to the receiver by optical instead.

Yeeeesssss, I feel your indecision grooowwwwing. come to the dark side. On a side note I got the mic from my brother which he won for free from work and I have my computer, xbox, and tablet going to my headphones.

Now the mic issue for me is solved by using the stream mic. My buddy just patched the tv headphone jack with his pc to some headphones using the rockstar and uses an old mic plugged into the controller to chat.

along with a cable to patch in his Game audio and whatever device he wishes to play separate audio from. Either way there are options all it takes is some creativity....... and wires, wires freaking everywhere.

i changed the psu to a 600w currently on sale for 40 bucks just to be safe. the cpu(i5 6500) is very good as well. my build was really cheap cause i bought them all during blackfriday. normally its 700$+

I just got a new chair a few weeks ago, and luckily the armrests go up and down quite a bit, so I should be able to lower them to accommodate a table. It's the rest of my room that is small!

I have a cockatiel cage in the room, along with an air filter/purifier to keep the dust down he produces so that takes up a bit of space. I am thinking something like this:

Get one of those baby corral things that are 6 or so pieces on hinges, and then put that in front of your TV. I put a couple of eye screws into the halfwall on the right to anchor that side, and what's not shown in the picture on the left is a coffee/side table thing where I anchored the other side. Older/taller kids like my three year old can reach over the gate and touch the TV, but they can't get into the components underneath while the holes in the gate allow IR in and heat out.

Ok so if they are using the Brook USB converter then in theory you could also make use of their model that converts PS3/PS4 peripherals to the xbox one. I know that the PS4 has a decent flight stick available:

Someone with more money than me should test this out so we can all jump on the HOTAS bandwagon.

(Edit:They may look a bit expensive, but you'll be using a tiny, tiny amount, and this stuff doesn't go off. It'll last years)

u/Vector2point0 is referring to a flight stick specifically designed for the Xbox.

The T.Flight Hotas 4 (PS4/PC version) is $70 on Amazon. I'd expect the Hotas One to be a similar price
