tell your neighbor that you've decided to upgrade your opener and ask for their model and make so you can get something different from what they have.Thengo and buy a universal remote like this one that has what they're calling 'smart learn' where you let the remote figure out which frequency opens the door.
Then you can open and close their door at all hours until they decide to change their frequency.

edit, I'm a dumbass. If their garage is using the same frequency as yours, go and get any powerful programmable remote and program that with your frequency. Then, unplug or turn off your garage in the evening and just sit in your living room and aim the remote at their garage every now and then until bed time. Repeat in morning until they change their frequency.
Again, if that's too much trouble (and it's some), get a different opener.

You should be able to find this shit in a drug store for about the same price. Apply sparingly to the crotch area of her panties.
