I would love to see something like this made. Its funny how i hate reading books in real life, but ive spent so many hours reading skyrims books. I actually went out and bought the hard cover versions. I dont know if you know they exist but you should definitely check them out if not: http://www.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Library-Histories/dp/1783293195?ie=UTF8&keywords=skyrim%20books&qid=1459137947&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-2
Some things id love to see are some journals from survivors after the bomb fell. Some raider ones would be cool to, i want to know what there up to.
Vault tech books describing the experiments in the vaults. There is a great description on them all on the wiki.
Love to see some throw backs, to the mojave. Maybe some tall tales like series about the legion.
I personally would love to see books for weapons mods. Make them all locked until you find the book that teaches you how to actually create them. I really miss blueprints from NV. It made scavaging rewarding, when you finally came across that mod you were looking for.
Either way i would be all for a mod like this. You could probably get help from the community for short stories too. Im sure /r/falloutlore would love to write some up for you.
14" is fine. Normally with a smaller screen, you have a lighter laptop. On a bigger screen, your viewing experience can be crisper but the trade off is the laptop is heavier. Basically, on a smaller screen there is more condensing the resolution but the difference in viewing is marginal.
Anyway, there are only two laptops with a 1070 that I would recommend with that budget:
Both of the above laptops are made by Gigabyte, a good company, that doesn't make their laptops look too flashy.
Now on to the 1060 laptops. I couldn't narrow down the search too much because there are so many great laptops available. I did, however, do a Newegg search using certain criteria. Any of these laptops will be great.
Personally, I prefer a lighter laptop and the fact that some of these laptops are bundle deals is very enticing. Also, it is very easy to add an SSD to your laptop so don't feel like you NEED an SSD on purchase. If the laptop you want only comes with a HDD that is fine. Simply buy a Kingston, Sandisk or Samsung SSD and install it.
And if you notice that some laptops are 3GB 1060s while others are 6GB, don't worry. According to benchmarks, 6GB has a moderate boost over the 3GB.
Good luck with the RAM. Hope it works out. I'm soo tempted to buy two of this 2933Mhz DDR3 set I discovered on Amazon. Just. for. Fallout... lol
A second 1070 would be an excellent birthday christmas combo haha I love SLI so far. I just wish two 1080's would perform as well for Fallout as it does for DOOM.

Holy shit man your cpu is running at 70 degrees C, get that thing some proper cooling before it dies!
Seriously though guy, get a better cooler for your cpu as running at 70C+ will reduce the lifetime of that chip and you will be buying a new one spending more money in the long run than if you just bought a better cooler. A cooler chip is also more stable meaning less of a chance to crash in a crash prone game like FO4 and corrupting your game data and losing everything. Cool chips also have the tendency to run at high clocks (if they throttle to cool down), meaning you'll get better performance!
Here, get this paste (best on market) and since I think you prolly have intel, this cooler.
A bit over 50 bucks USD will save you in the long run when you don't burn out your cpu, as 70 degrees is kinda the soft cap for intel chips with 80 being where they usually shut off. If you have an amd processor hitting 70+ than thats really bad as they shouldn't ever go above 65 at most...
Lots of people want that but most games don't support it.
I bought a Logitech G13 (the thumb stick is analog) to try and do this but it is much harder to get working than you would think. Most games you can only really bind keyboard keys to the directions of the stick and it ends up working more like a thumb operated hat switch but without a lot of hardware and software modding the G13 is probably your best bet.
Edit: If you do get a Logitech G13 and the thumbstick feels too small you can grab some Sugru mouldable glue and an analog thumb stick cap and fill the back of the cap with the Sugru and stick it on the end of the G13 thumbstick. This Instructible has someone doing something similar but the person used ABS Slurry (whatever the fuck that is) to glue it on.
I have this keyboard and this mouse. They're not the best, but they do the job well enough. Why?
