I saw that on woot today but I was hoping for a keyboard with a touch pad so it would be all inclusive. I appreciate you pointing that out though, it's a great deal.

EDIT: I bought it anyways since it was such a good deal. I've also found a tiny keyboard for about 10 bucks on amazon. I think it's the cheapest I'm going to get away with.

I've been loving my Incipio. The hard part provides good protection but the soft rubber feels great while holding it. And it actually makes the buttons easier to push

I saw a thread about this on XDA a while back. A lot of people recommended this which is the AB84. The AB85 has come out since and says it is made for the Galaxy Nexus. I don't have either but they both have good reviews. Hopefully you can get them in the UK

To use in your car. For what I've read, I think this is the best one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004EHZUYG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&smid=A18ACDNYOEMMOL

The only problem is that it only allows to connect one bluetooth device (it says multi-pairing but check the first review)

Tip: If you buy it, take it to a auto-stereo shop and connect the power supply to the key and the audio cable directly to the head-unit instead of using your auxiliary port. That way your charging and aux ports will be unoccupied for future uses.

For your home: I have this one, is great: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Speaker-Bluetooth-980-000540/dp/B004VM1T5S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1344218975&sr=8-1&keywords=logitech+bluetooth

if you're into DIY projects I recently built a touchstone car dock that is far better than anything I've ever seen on the market for any phone...

Follow this guide to mod your phone for inductive charging (reversible)
http://forums.androidcentral.com/verizon-galaxy-nexus-accessories/147840-guide-galaxy-nexus-mod-palm-touchstone-no-soldering-phone.html

Pick up a car charger and mount (you need the palm charger as it provide 1A current, most car chargers don't)

I'll be posting a write up sometime soon with pictures of everything... but I modded both my GNex and my gf's Bionic with the touchstone charger and 8 N52 magnets - works great for both.

I've been thinking of getting an Obihai ( http://www.amazon.com/OBi110-Service-Bridge-Telephone-Adapter/dp/B0045RMEPI ), but I'll see what the service is like in my apt first.

Also, apparently if you go over it's 10 cents a minute, which would work out to 45 dollars for 450 minutes, and $75 (45 + 30) for 550 minutes is still less than I'm paying per month right now.

I'll look into your recommendation, thanks!

Incipio Silicrylic, no screen protector. The sides are grippy, the smooth back makes it easy to get in and out of your pocket. Love it. I will be buying this type of case for all phones I own from now on.

Edit: Samsung extended battery fits fine under it with just the slightest lifting up on the sides.

I was thinking of one like this so it could charge while I played. I can only imagine about a hour of play time with four controllers and n64 Mariocart...

I recently picked one of these up: http://www.amazon.com/Bracketron-PHV-200-BL-Mobile-Device-Holder/dp/B0014S5FVQ

I'm not much of a DIY'er, so this was the cheap easy solution for me.

Try the original cable thaqt comes with your phone. I had issues with charging as well, and it always works well with that cable and one that came with Droid 1.

I also use this one in my car (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EJHH20/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00) so when using phone as GPS there's no stress on the connector. It also seem to work fine for me.

Its basically a problem you'll have with ANY MicroUSB phone, the connections become loose over time, I've seen it many of my phones including my old G1 which used Mini USB. Take care of your slots my friends.

Although its a pain, buying a new charger should work. Here's one on Amazon for $1.35

If you think that is your issue then try this

I sweat more than anyone I know and use (these)[ http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0011UK2H4/ref=redir_mdp_mobile] I've had them for 3 years and the mini-usb port is literally rusting from sweat but they keep working. wanted to try a lighter pair from motorola recently and they lasted one run.

I've been using this http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Bluetooth-Hands-Free-BlackBerry-Smartphones/dp/B004CLYJ2I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1345044135&sr=8-3

It works pretty well but I plan to get a nfc tag for my car mount to automatically turn on bt when it's mounted to streamline the process.

Why not look into a moto e then? It's 120$ off contract. or go even lower, the prepaid moto e is 70$ or lower, though you can get the higher spec moto G for that price.

Moto E prepaid at 70$

Moto G at 60$

I'm currently using an Arkon SM410 Universal Windshield with Dashboard and Vent Mountt. It has slight shakiness if you don't squeeze it in tight enough. The mount has never fallen off my windshield. I have no complaints with it other than it's kinda loud when you press the hinge release button.

Yes.

I followed a guide to install the palm pre's inductive charger. I bought 2 (and I'm going to get a third) touchstone. They're on amazon for about 6 bucks a pop. I installed the pre inductive coil on the Gnex and got that all working.

Then I picked up 10 NFC Tag stickers. These are programmable. I stuck the stickers on the touchstones and programmed them for different actions. The touchstone by my bed automatically sets my phone into quiet mode and displays an lcd clock. I haven't installed one of the touchstones in my car yet but that one will connect to the bluetooth and fire up the gps.

I also keep an nfc tag in my wallet as well. That sets my phone back to all default settings (brightness, volume, etc). Touch the wallet and you're back to normal. I've been thinking about sticking them on my credit cards and having them launch money tracking software. That way every time I swipe a card I can enter notes on my purchases.
