My Glock 17 with Olight PL-Mini 2 (just for reference) -$90 & 400 lumens. Also I put this forward so I can wrap my index around the front, but also to show that the attachment allows for a locked forward position, as well as the expected back position. The attachment is well built with rigid click positions for where you want to set it. Great little light, but I haven't found a permanent home for it yet. Bright AF. I recommend not looking into the light to see how bright it gets. lol. Quick disconnect which is badass, and easy magnetic USB charger. Button is momentary with vertical push-downward. If I was going to push you towards one of the three that I own, it would be this one.

My Glock22 with a Veridian X5L Light/Laser - $399 but only 178 lumens. Way too expensive IMO but it has the laser so that's part of the reason. But it is relatively flush. Another downside is that holsters are hard to find. I ended up buying theirs. And now its my home defense Glock22 and I hardly ever shoot it (I have another G22 that gets used that is without a light). Button is horizonal on/off only + pinch both to cycle light/laser combos.

I also owned a Crimson Trace CMR-204 light/laser. Sold it to my buddy. It was bulky as hell and the buttons were cheap feeling. Didn't even feel like it was engaging a button--just mashing plastic and all of a sudden it was on. $339 and a weak 100 lumens for that price. Button was horizonal on/off only + pinch both to cycle light/laser combos.

And just for show n tell, my Glock 19/26 with Streamlight TLR-6 (100 lumens). Button is momentary with horizontal push-inward. The Streamlight TLR-7 might be an alternate for a G17 -- $110 and 500 lumens.

Oddly enough I don't even like my lights on my guns...at least not yet. I keep gravitating to taking the guns without them on it to the range. The Olight I only bought because of a Flash-sale, but if I needed a light on a gun, that would be the one I'd lean towards.

...in fact, I recommend their S1R Baton II. Super tiny light, that is light enough to clip onto a hat, but solid feeling for an EDC. Multiple light levels as well as double tap ultra bright, and triple tap for a strobe. At 1,000 lumens and the size of your finger, its a solid flashlight worth owning.

There’s another one, got it via Amazon(smile to Heller foundation), that works like a wrench and applies leverage, hang on and I’ll link it... found it I have personally used this one and it works well, so it’s another option. Used to install these which work extremely well for me, making the subcompact glocks more comfortable and fit my hand.

I just got safe so far it's not bad. At the end of the day any safe can be broken into. It was a good price and it will keep my kids out lol

alright just getting an idea of what you used, I was using soldering iron first then got

and my stippling went from what you got there to PRO looking overnight the variable temp is the way to go. I also did alot of prep maybe too much but i used just sandpaper (120>300>600) grits to get it super smooth, then stipped with a fine or med point. Not telling you that it looks like crap I just want you to know that the wood burner can take it alot farther than the iron ever will without any more practice involved.

I got these Ameriglo Surppressor Height sights and I like them a lot. At first I was gonna go with Trijicon but these behoove me just the same and they're more cost effective.

Here's the sight picture (front sight a little further forward than normal, installed on compensator). Check my post history for more various pics.

That said, I don't have a Trijicon RMR yet so I can't offer you that final perspective. Waiting on a deal for the Type 2.

I’d try the groove/flathead thing first.

I had this happen to a tap and I used a diamond dremel bit to essentially hollow and dig it out.

Downside of a non-fully supported chamber is that for rounds getting close to the maximum pressure for the caliber, you can get a bit of a bulge in the case (aka Glock smile). This can make reloading a bit more of a pain although I don't think I've seen any real danger issues. Secondly, don't assume all commercial ammo rounds are always in spec, particularly from the smaller operations. I reload for 10mm and was surprised to see that a lot of prvi partisan rounds weren't in spec. They had issues in the chamber gauge and also feeding in my STI 2011 and Glock 29 with Lone Wolf aftermarket barrel. I know the Wound Channel on youtube also had an underwood 10mm round that blew up because the round was out of spec. You might want to get one of these and check those rounds to see if they drop in all the way without any effort or if they get stuck or are too long (are visible out the other end). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01313622M/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
