No prob! It's just funny that I've been having this problem recently and have just had my eyes look equally for two days now.

The make-shift "tape" I use: http://www.staples.com/Post-it-1-2-Flags-with-Pop-Up-Dispenser/product_SS975428

I basically cut one strip into around 3 curved ones (like these ones http://www.amazon.com/Eye-Charm-Charm-Double-Applicator-40pairs/dp/B000VS6GCM).

You have to experiment on exactly where you put it on your lid--it's easy and you'll figure it out! :)

About the tape, I only used the post-it ones, because I didn't want to buy the eyelid tape ones. I have two other sets of these sticky markers (one from Daiso and the other from the dollar store but they don't stick as well as Post-It).

If you decide on buying anyway and that you don't have these post-it tabs at home, I think you should just get the eyelid tape--then again, you'll just experiment first--so maybe buying it without knowing it'll work isn't such a good idea... Anyway! The bottom line is that what you need is something that will really stick and is thicker than the normal Scotch (transparent) tape. I think the thicker magic tape would work too. If your eyelid tends to get a little bit oily like mine, put the tape on after shower/washing your face.

If you have any follow-up questions, I'll be happy to answer them.

Agreed! Here's a link to the one I like on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017O3ON08/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_le4eAbK3JJB6T

I can't find it at daiso anymore though

I keep hearing good things about Real Techniques brushes, I actually have their Starter Set coming in the mail as we speak so I can't personally recommend them yet. But the price is right, and most of the reviews claim that the blending brush is on the small side so that's a plus.

My favorite (I have a million backups) is the Seki Edge Total Control curler. It had no edges (like the UD curler) so it doesn't pinch and it's easy to reach the base of your lashes, but is also springy with the right amount of tension (which I found the UD curler lacking, meaning it didn't curl my lashes well).
