Best bet is to just buy a larger hard drive. Can get a 1tb for very little money.

Either clone their drive to the new one (so you don't lose current data) or add the 1 TB as a secondary drive for mass storage.

Getting an external hard drive is helpful as well. It actually can help people stop saving so much stuff. They don't want to transfer everything, so they start to learn to delete things.
