There was a post I made few months back, see if it helps. Here are a couple of options :

  • Samsung LC27JG54 - Sells around 20~22K during sales. 1440p, VA panel, curve, 144Hz, 95% sRGB, 300 nits brightness, min 4ms RT. Really great monitor for all games, media and I'm not sure about competitive shooters.
  • AOC C24G1 - Seen it for 17k during sale. 1080p, VA panel, curve, 144Hz, 99%sRGB, 250 nits brightness, avg 4ms RT. One of the better monitors where content looks great to view and is under 20K.
  • Samsung LC24FG73 - 1080p, VA panel, curve, 144Hz, 125% sRGB, 350 nits brightness, quantum dot, avg 8ms RT. Also one of the better monitors under 20K. The picture quality is really good but I have heard few issues related to purple artifacts and response time. It was present in the older model LC24FG70. From my usage never found such problems.

These are good monitors for excellent picture quality, blacks, response times. The TN panels are perfect for shooters and casual users. IPS has the best colors but it's difficult to find one which supports higher refresh rate and good response time under 20K. If your okay with 60Hz, 1080p and want brilliant colors. Check out LG 24MP88HV.

Happy Diwali to u as well.

The audio quality needs a lot of improvement. Get a Boya BYM1 mic and you will see a drastic change. The video quality also needs improvement but that will require a lot of investment so it's probably not a good idea this early. That mic costs only ₹850 and it will bring a significant impact on how the video turns out.

The content idea is good and as you guys build PCs for a living so you have all the new stuff to make great content out of it. The content map needs a fresh approach, as to what games to benchmark and stuff like that, check out Hardware Unboxed on YouTube to get a good direction as how to proceed.

P.S. Don't do the bloopers thing. Stick to the material and focus on the info you are providing. If you want a slightly light hearted theme, crack a joke or two about Nvidia or Intel. Keep it technical.

Check out Hardware Unboxed, Jayztwocents, HardwareCanucks, Bitwit for ideas.

Good luck

Cooler Master Devastator 3 KB/M Combo @2499

Logitech Prodigy G231 Headset @3490

TOTAL-15349

PC is good to game AAA titles @60 FPS on the monitor. Also 99% sRGB monitor grants you editing capabilities. This might be the best bang for your buck PC for just a hair over 1L. Peripherals are just general recommendations, you shall go for only those which you find suitable for yourself/your needs. Ask me if you’re having any doubts.

EDIT- You could also do B350 motherboard to get extra cash to invest in a GPU like 1070 Founder’s Edition

Asus ROG Strix B350-F @10500

1070 Founder’s Edition @33000

TOTAL for PC now becomes 86,917 if you change to these 2.

It’d be better if you pick these 2 over the ones I suggested earlier.

I don't think microfiber is anti static but I could be wrong. Look on amazon or other sites. You can find them pretty cheap there. If you use an anti static wristabnd, you can reduce the chances but not completely eliminate them. Like if you're just using your hands, then there's no problem. But cloth will still have some chance of charge going through. I use compressed air cans.

Look at these. They're not what I use but they should work just fine.

Foooit - Air Duster (Dust Remover/Compressed Air) (White) https://www.amazon.in/dp/B00JZME5BE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_5oRMBb0EB9AS3

3M CL600 Anti-Static Electronic Equipment Cleaner (10oz) https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0000V1A7Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_cqRMBbPWCMNSE

Cero Iso Propyl Alcohol 99 Percent Pure [(Ch3)2-Ch-Oh] Cas: 67-63-0 (250ml) https://www.amazon.in/dp/B01FD6EMNG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_DrRMBbK8ECZEE

NIKS IPA Iso-Propyl Alcohol 99.9% [(CH3)2-CH-OH] CAS: 67-63-0, 250ml https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07887GYYQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_TrRMBbKQ704HC

The isopropyl alcohol really doesn't matter as long as its 90% and above. 99% is the best one available. But you can use 90% and above without any problems. You can also find them at your local medical shop. If you need more help, don't hesitate to ask.

It's nigh impossible to get a budget G-sync monitor with a fast refresh rate , you'll have to settle for a cheaper option

BenQ ZOWIE RL2455 offers a 75hz refresh rate ( when overclocked ) and a great 1ms response rate perfect for overwatch.
(http://amzn.to/2spRvFB) should save around 12k

Also if you're in Mumbai head over to Prime ABGB , you can get the Ryzen 5 1500x for around 14.5k , which is a significant upgrade

I seriously recommend more storage ,250 Gb just doesn't cut it anymore , you can get a 1TB hard disk for 3.5k

u/frustrated_baby · 0 pointsr/IndianGaming

This is a very pricey build for a casual PC. I suggest you to not go with this build unless you plan on upgrading later. here are some alternatives.

Remember to always make a build around the monitor and therefore decide the monitor first.

heres a cheap one, approx rs6300

https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B0157V5TS4/

processor :- it s better to go with intel since motherboard for kaby lake s cheaper for cheaper processor.

heres a good combo

g4560, 2core 4 threads, rs4900

https://www.amazon.in/Intel-G4560-Genenration-Pentium-Processor/dp/B01NCE8T92/

mobo ,rs4300, max ram speed supported 2300mhz

https://www.amazon.in/Gigabyte-GA-H110M-S2-1151-Updated-Motherboard/dp/B06Y4SG6RY/

hdd is fine, ram is fine too

since build is light, u dont need aftermarket psu, get a zebronics cabinet psu combo for 2k

dvd drive not needed, m/kb goes for 500 locally, ups, fans not needed, speakers rs500

total cost :- 28000

save the rest for a 1050ti

sorry for the formatting.

https://www.productchart.com/monitors/19538_vs_24988https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/9m5s1f/difference_between_msi_optix_g24c_and_optix_mag24c/I have read a bit about the difference and I think I was going to buy the mag version as it is the updated version and has a few improvements with a lesser price but when I got to billing on Newegg the price added up VAT and Shipping Cost which brought the price up to 21000 so I think I will have to reconsider my decision as Newegg states that it does not include any customs duty as well.

Because of this, I am now considering the AOC C23G1 at 22000 it doesn't have the same peak brightness and has 82% NTSC but it's coming from a source that I trust and know won't charge me any extra customs duty

there is also a more expensive Samsung LC24F at 24000 with vesa

and a much cheaper Acer Nitro at 14000 its IPS but with 75hz and 250 nits though it has vesa

Ignore all those and buy a keyboard with real cherry MX - Coolermaster Masterkeys Pro L. Yes it doesn't have RGB but do you want a good keyboard or just RGB bling?

https://www.amazon.in/Cooler-Master-MasterKeys-Intelligent-Switches/dp/B01ITE93OM

Fabulous keyboard for the money - I have been using one for over a year and it regularly goes for 5499 during sale.

Thank you for the post. Been looking for a good monitor for the 1 ms 144Hz 1080p section. I have a question tho. Between Samsung C24FG73 and AOC-C24G1, which do you think is better in terms of image clarity and performance?

u/theawkwarddev · 1 pointr/IndianGaming

Need M2 SATA SSD for my laptop. Is the Samsung Evo available on Amazon good and worth the cost?

Samsung 860 EVO Series - 250GB M.2 SATA Internal SSD (MZ-N6E250BW) https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07864V6CK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_.tWVBbTDKAZB2

Is there some other better SSD?

The only budget mouse that has similar size and shape like that of the G300S is the MSI Interceptor for 1.3K

It seems you like small mice, as the G300S is indeed smaller than an average sized gaming mouse nowadays. There's also Asus Cerberus which has almost the same size and shape of the G300S.

My personal suggestion is that - if you're familiar with a specific model of mouse, don't try to change it. You'll end up trying a dozen of mice, and at the end will ultimately return to the G300S. My best suggestion would be to get another G300S.

Regarding the mousepad : See, there is no point spending to get a Steelseries QCK Medium or any Logitech Medium sized mousepad over the QCK Sims 4 Edition that I suggested. You'll only be spending the money more, no use.

If you don't wanna get the QCK Sims 4 at 50 bucks and you're willing to spend, get something better - Get this Amazon Basics Extended Mousepad. It's a rebranded QCK mousepad from Steelseries, premium quality and is extended - so huge space for low DPI to work with!

Thanks, ive decided to go with this.. and upgrade after 2 years, since its best to upgrade fast with nvidia gpu.

You can add more storage if you want. Get an M.2 nvme SSD 250gb as your boot drive if you prefer.

I'm building 2200G + 2x4 GB RAM, SATA SSD+ 450 PSU.

Can I go with this or this? Or is there a better and cheaper MoBo? Also, please help me in choosing RAM. I'm confused with single channel vs dual channel, UDIMM vs RDIMM and 2400 vs 3000 Mhz.

Cooler Master MasterKeys Pro L with Intelligent White LED, Cherry MX Brown Switches, Multiple Lighting Modes and 100% Layout https://www.amazon.in/dp/B01ITE93OM/

It's not that the Ryzen won't give you better performance than the i5 without OC. It's just that it won't give you its best performance.

But even without overclocking, I think the 6 core Ryzen will be more VFM for you than the i5 considering they're both about the same price bracket. I would suggest you get the Ryzen with a B350 board and not OC right now if you don't want to. But the board will allow you to do so, if you feel the need later.

EDIT: Here's a similar budget build to your current one. I've used some of the same parts as well but dropped the optical drive.

Ryzen 5 1600 - 16,529/-

Gigabyte GA-AB350M-D3H - 8,065/-

Corsair Vengeance 8 GB 2400 MHz RAM - 4,430/-

WD Blue 1 TB HDD - 3,590/-

Zotac 1050 Ti - 11,725/-

Cooler Master Elite 310 Case (comes with 1 fan) - 2,340/-

Extra 120 mm case fan - 320/-

Deepcool Aurora DA500 80+ Bronze PSU - 3,255/-

BenQ GW22740 6,757/-

APC 600VA UPS - 2,300/-

Dragonwar Storm Gaming Keyboard & LED Mouse Combo - 1,254/-

Total - 60,565/-

Can someone suggest a good wired mouse ? Gimmicks like RGB not necessary, i would rather it have additional programmable buttons (which games usually recognise as Mouse4 & Mouse5).

I am currently using this set. Keyboard is still going strong but the mouse scroll wheel is starting to malfunction.

Hi,

Don't know if you're still looking for one but the Gigabyte K83 is an excellent keyboard. It comes with cherry reds and there's no backlighting of any kind but if you don't mind that, you can get it for as low as 2.4k (nehru place, new delhi) and it's currently available on amazon for 3.4k. It was my first board and is highly recommended.

u/cyber_god_odin · 6 pointsr/IndianGaming

Please be specific , what's the budget ? What's existing Mobo you are using ? Do you want to upgrade Mobo too?
Any ways here is to cheap processor which can some what game -

Get Ryzen 5 1600 instead of i5. I'd recommend this Gigabyte K83 keyboard. It doesn't have RGB but is mechanical (Cherry MX Red acc. to the product listing).

There are 2 versions, the hyperx alloy fps, which is a full size board and then the alloy fps pro which is a tkl one.

HyperX-HX-KB1BL1-NA-Mechanical-Gaming

It is currently over 9k, but on sale this was for 5k and then extra card discount.

If you are primarily gaming then I don't think you should have a lot of problems in switching to tkl.

u/Mor0nSoldier · 2 pointsr/IndianGaming

Avoid Razer. I had a BW 2014 Classic. It was PATHETIC in quality. Keys went bad in 5-6 months of usage.

Currently using a HyperX Alloy Cherry Blue which I picked up from Amazon for ~Rs.6000. Been using since 1 year 2 months now, working just as good as day one.

If you don't want RGB, but want genuine Cherry MX, then TVS Bharat Gold is a good keyboard for the cheap, but since you're willing to spend, these are decent options:

The item i mentioned is not that much for Surges but for high and low voltage cutoff.

I'm using this for Surges

https://www.amazon.in/Goldmedal-Curve-205101-Plastic-i-Strip/dp/B0114BF6C0

I have these in mind -

  • Ups for backup (luminous 600va)

  • goldmedal strip for Surges

  • that smartplug for high low voltage cut off

  • finding a Stabilizer for pc for voltage regulation

  • I have a goldmedal UK plug for corsair cx 450 Smps with a surge protector in it
