Right now is the prime time to buy merchandise for the show, so it is not a bad idea if you want to go the extra mile for him since all of this stuff will be extremely expensive in less than a year from now.

The best thing to do would be to measure the cards yourself and find the closest sleeves that they would fit in. Card sleeves come in all sorts of sizes to accommodate a wide variety of board games and TCGs.

A quick google search suggested that the original 2004 Rouze cards were printed the same size as Bandai's Carddass product: 86 x 59mm. That means that any inner sleeve that fits Yu-Gi-Oh cards should also fit around Rouze cards. Here is an Amazon link that I found.

Again, your best bet would be to actually measure one of your cards and verify everything I just said.

Many resort to foam mats, you can see a video here. You can also visit your local crafting/hardware store to see if they have foam as well.

The most important part is the base model that you make with thick, card stock-like paper (great example of this for the Blade costume tutorial). I suggest that you make this before even buying foam. If it looks good in paper form (with curves and cuts made to give the piece of armor good dimension), you can reproduce it in foam.

You can get an extension that fits onto the belt. Costs about $20 on Amazon (link, but I believe they work for any driver.
