First, sorry about the bad pic quality. I'm here on mobile.

So I ordered this Scissorblade from TopSwords on Amazon for 45 USD expecting a cheap plastic scissor. I was wrong. It's made from some really good polished wood, and is worth more than I spent in my opinion. My hand and the pillow in the pictures are for scale. The entire thing is ABOUT 1 meter long. I wouldn't be able to tell you where they made and shipped it from, but it arrived in 2 days time without any expedited shipping.

Overall, I'm happy with it and recommend it to anyone who'd like a cheap, wood Scissorblade. And don't let the wood part fool you either. It's pretty hefty!

I highly recommend learning to draw real people before learning to draw anime. The skills you learn to draw from life will transfer over to anime style, but not the other way around.

I don't know of any resources to learn since I taught myself, but I think Sycra's videos are probably pretty good.

Oh, I also recommend the books Dynamic Anatomy and Dynamic Figure Drawing by Burne Hogarth.

Sure!

BluRay #1: here.

BluRay #2: here.

BluRay #3: here.

The third one includes a really nice box for the other DVD cases as well. Their price seems to have gone slightly up since I bought them, so you might be able to find them cheaper. I recommend being careful if you are to look for cheaper alternatives though, as you want to stay clear of bootlegs. Art booklets are included in all of them.

For me, it makes biting hard things painful for a day or so afterward, but it tastes delicious. That's the meat only, though, not the peel. One thing to note is that lemons/limes contain crazy high amounts of sugar, but it's usually overpowered by the bitter. For people who can't taste sour as well/like sour, it's probably a more reasonable proposition.

If you're not a big fan of sour, though, try this out, it'll blow your mind. It blocks your sour receptors similar to how you stop tasting sweet after you eat too many sweet things, so you can eat crazy sour stuff and enjoy the other flavors in it. Lemons taste amazing with that stuff, the only thing I can compare it to is the little puddle of molten sugar left over from when you don't mix your sugar well enough into your coffee. I'd recommend giving it a go to anyone.

I have annoyingly sensitive teeth, however, and use sensodyne daily/appear to require an average of 2 more doses of novacaine than normal to not feel my mouth anymore.

I bought this one and like it:

Cheapest I could find in one search here

I can't say anything for these particular sellers, but if they sell a legit product, it's a pretty nice thing to have around, I put mine of my backpack.

I bought mine via YesAsia, you can also buy it on Amazon.

It has 1 Blu-Ray disc that contains episode 3, 4, and 5. Sadly no english subtitles, I purely bought it for collection purposes and glorious best Sama. It also has one drama CD and a pretty cool art book showing sketches of the episodes featured in the Blu-Ray.

If you planned on buying it to re-watch the episodes in HD with subtitles, this probably isn't worth it for you. I bought it to have it and is probably the only one of the 9 volumes I'll buy.

amazon has it. It's an import so a bit more expensive, but free ship

I buy most of my figures through amiami.com, but finding the KLK nendoroids these days is hard as they get sold out. You should be able to buy them on amazon, just be sure to check the reviews first to make sure you don't get a bootleg version.

u/spengineer · 2 pointsr/KillLaKill

You can buy it here. I highly suggest checking out Hiroyuki Sawano's other work, he was the composer for KLK and has done a ton of other awesome music.

Unless you're willing to wait.

I picked up the entire Steins Gate bluray collection,http://www.amazon.co.uk/Steins-Gate-Complete-Asami-Imai/dp/B00I5I1R74/ref=sr_1_1_twi_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1419741116&sr=8-1&keywords=steins+gate

£30 a while back. I'm not 100% sure what it released as pricewise but it feels like a deal.

Same with GITS http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ghost-Shell-2-0-Innocence-Blu-ray/dp/B002JWK4XU/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1419741213&sr=8-7&keywords=ghost+in+the+shell
It cost me £10, but once again that was a while back.

I found a link to pre order just the game itself on Amazon for both Switch and PS4. If I remember correctly, none of the special editions are available in the states yet. If it makes you feel any better, I'm still waiting for a Steam store page. So that makes two of us.

u/YaBoiErr_Sk1nnYP3n15 · 1 pointr/KillLaKill

Nah there seems to be about 30 copies or so including 2nd hand ones

u/TalonFORCE · 1 pointr/KillLaKill

It was £39 when I pre ordered it on Amazon. It has since gone up to£43.25. I would say the only thing going for it is that it seems to be in 3 parts, so roughly £120 for the series as apposed to the £400+ for the japanese set.

That being said, do Zavvi not have to honor the pre-order at that price? I mean, it is their fault so the should at least honor it for the people that pre-ordered it before they fixed it.

u/mattjone5 · 8 pointsr/KillLaKill

I got this one, I know it’s not the same design, but it’s really comfy and soft!

According to amazon.de the whole thing will be in japanese and german. The subtitles will be german only.

Edit: Also looked at the homepage of peppermint studios (the ones releasing KLK in german). They only mention a german dub.

Aniplex still pulls that shit in America. here is one of the gurren lagann DVD sets(When it first released this is all they had). 9 episodes for $60. Meaning you'll spend anywhere from $180 - $200 for all of it. And don't even get me started on their $500 Gurren Lagann blu-ray. This is a recurring theme with Aniplex too. Release in small pieces initially, usually 3-4 parts. And price them all at $60 each(Fullmetal Alchemist is a good example). The big issue is that consumers shouldn't have to wait 2-3 years after a series/seasons end to get the whole thing in one box for a sub $100 price. Which Aniplex doesn't seem to understand.

u/Joraiem · 28 pointsr/KillLaKill

Wait, so this is the pricing for the Japanese release? Cause I was looking all over Aniplex of America's site and I couldn't find it.

You guys do know that anime is more expensive in Japan than here, right? These two things aren't even comparable - this is the US release of Attack on Titan, and this is the Japanese release of Kill la Kill that you're talking about. When Aniplex makes a US release (whether it's dubbed or subbed) it'll likely be more episodes, for a lower price, than this.

EDIT: For an example, this is a Japanese Blu-Ray only release of Attack on Titan, with no bonus materials (unless you got the first printing) and only two episodes. It's about $60.
