Thanks, I purchased some lifts/spacers from amazon that work great for mounting on a wood base like this. I attached the spacers to the relay board and Pi first, set them in place, marked the holes in the feet and pre-drilled to make it easier to sink the wood screws on the feet.

Best of luck on your build.

I set up a cheap soundbar that I got from a pawn shop (I think I paid like $25 for it?) out on my front porch and hook that up to my first LSP. Then, I hang small battery powered outdoor speakers from my trees and plug each one into a different LSP. Works great! I used these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H2WM44C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but it looks like they aren't available anymore. :(

I bought this one. It is a cheap one but it seems to work pretty well. The range is decent, I can still hear it 5 houses down from mine. Not sure how many feet. I run it constantly for Halloween and Christmas and it has not had any problems.

Nice!! Are you talking about a USB to Aux 3.5 mm adaptor so I can plug it straight in? Is there much involved in changing the code?

Like this?

Thanks for the recommendation. I ended up purchasing one myself. The price seemed fair and it looks like exactly what I was looking for.

Well I plan to use a USB adapter to four all weather speakers. I found one with RCA output connectors https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-External-Converter-Headphone-Microphone/dp/B01M7QQQC7/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=usb+audio+adapter+RCA&qid=1569119730&sr=8-4. My music is all on an external USB drive so I have loads of space. Still building my system so never know.

Ya one minute I tried start_music_and_lights and they just turn on. I tried all 3 of the testing commands on the website and the lights turn on and nothing happens. I have pins 0-7 connected on my pi 2b and the 2 5v pins are connected to the relays 5v pins and 2 ground pins are connected to the 2 ground pis on my relay. The relay has an external power source of 12 volts
This is the relay I am using. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0057OC66U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
