I do! Don't have a lot of beats so far but I'm working on it haha. You can check them out here if you want.

Also if you really want to learn music theory I recommend the book "Music Theory for Computer Musicians" by Michael Hewitt, you can also "borrow" it online if you catch my drift. It's a series of 3 books if I'm not mistaken (second covering harmony and third one composition). Then maybe you'd want a piano scales book (like this). Knowing your scales is pretty important if you want to compose music, you'll have to practice those and the book is really helpful for that. You can also find free versions online of similar books (I think r/piano has a link for one in their beginner's guide).

But again, really not that necessary for lofi hiphop unless you want to go deep. Music theory however is not wasted knowledge, so go for it if you're really motivated.

Obviously, you need to look well dressed to be taken seriously as a musician, my personal recommendations would be this 900 dollar pair of already ripped Dolce & Gabbana jeans, because, obviously, only Dolce & Gabbana know how to both manufacture and rip (the rips are very important) jeans in an aesthetic manner, otherwise it would just be silly paying 900 dollars for a fucking pair of jeans, this grand and half Givenchy camo hoodie, this will not only make you look like an original rudebwoy, but will also help you hide from predators should you ever find yourself lost in a jungle (I can't stress the importance of that last point enough, as a musician, you never know were you might end up during your travels, so it's vital to be prepared - always in an aesthetically pleasing manner, of course).

To top it off I'd recommend this beautiful pair of Adidas JS Wings Gold, once more, their golden colour will not only give you a sleek professional look, but the wings attached to them will help you run faster in case you find yourself being chased by a pack of rabid Nifflers due to their remarkably shiny quality.

I realize this comes to a very hefty sum, but you need to spend money to make money, and thousands of dollars worth of designer clothing are essential to the success of any musician, otherwise this whole discussion would be pointless and I'd just be some random guy acting like a cynical asshole while writing a lengthy shitpost on a thread about clothing posted on a music-related message board.

(sorry man, I had to do it)

i'm always switching things around but in this case i was using the sp to process my samples before sampling them into the mpc. some eq or vinyl sim. sometimes i'll do it the other way around once i have a complete beat produced on the mpc, i'll run it through the sp to effect the entire master bus.

i'm pretty sure this is the stand i got: https://www.amazon.com/Hola-Music-HPS-290B-Professional-Projector/dp/B07F3X3RT9/

if i'm doing something sample based i'll usually find a 8 or 16 bar loop i like and chop it across all 16 pads. sometimes i'll lay drums first and then play the samples on top, sometimes i mess around with the sample until i find a pattern i like and then add drums on top. then i mix and master in logic

The ones that I felt were the most comprehensive and not so boring were these: and I recommend using them in this order:

https://www.amazon.com/Producing-Music-Ableton-Quick-Guides/dp/1480355100/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1483652098&sr=8-3&keywords=ableton+books

https://www.amazon.com/Interactive-Composition-Strategies-Using-Ableton/dp/0199973822/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1483652133&sr=8-1&keywords=interactive+composition

https://www.amazon.com/Design-Mixing-Mastering-Ableton-Guides/dp/1480355119/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1483652098&sr=8-2&keywords=ableton+books

I went through a handful more than this but those three probably helped me the most. Notable mention is Ableton Live 9 Power! But I found it to be really boring.

You could just go with the first book and it would be a fantastic step in the door to Ableton. Interactive Composition is the most fun but it's definitely less thorough. The last book is just if you want to go even deeper into using Ableton, it just shows more of Abletons uses for mixing. It basically starts off right where the first book ends. It's also shorter than the first so it's pretty quick to get through.

there's really only a small few of them that i've seen, the most notable being WeAreMachines, if you look his name up with "tutorial" next to it you should find it.

there's really not too much difference between lofi and regular hiphop tutorials, it just depends on the style and what that person is using. Try looking up FL hip hop tutorials, and try to stick to ones strictly using FL as some people might be using an MPC or an SP. but try looking up Old School Hip Hop tutorials and Boom Bap tutorials, those are more in line with the lo-fi style

a soundcard is a piece of gear that processes audio. computers come with stock soundcards but they usually don't sound as good as a dedicated one, and don't have inputs and outputs for running external gear like you would a guitar cable into an amp

Generally the cheapest you'll find them is around $100, which if you're going to buy one new i'd suggest Focusrite as they hook it up with some software effects
https://www.amazon.com/Focusrite-2i2-GENERATION-USB-Recording/dp/B005OZE9SA

but if you look around on ebay or amazon or possibly even craigslist you might find one for maybe 30 if you're lucky, but more likely around $50 for a decent one
