I don't know what type of hair you have, but I have long, kinda wavy, pretty greasy hair and my damage comes from being rough on it with the comb.

If you can get away with it, have you tried washing it less frequently?

That can be challenging for me in the summer and depending on my workout schedule, so my next suggestion is to use a more hydrating shampoo. My hair benefits from Palmer's olive oil shampoo. You should be able to get it at Walmart/Target as well. Might have to check out the ethnic hair care section.

If you are in love with your shampoo and don't want to change, you can try using oil in your hair. I don't do this myself, my hair is naturally too greasy, but I've heard great things about coconut and macadamia oil. You can purchase a bottle of either on Amazon for under $15 and it can also double as a skincare product. I recommend research before slathering your hair with oil, though!

And of course, regular trims help keep it looking great.

Good luck!

I live out in Ransom and have an antenna on the roof. Its been there since I moved in last year. I bought this antenna and it works great. Since my wife and I don't watch a ton of network television, using the antenna has saved us a lot of money on sat/cable bills. All signals come in strong with no worries. We get KCBD, KITV, KAMC, KLBK, KLCW, and KTTZ (plus some other ones I deleted from the tv like shopping or Spanish speaking). You can easily go to tvfool to check and see which stations you are supposed to pick up where you live.
Not installing sat/cable was one of the best decisions we've made for saving money. Good luck!

Buy this one used. Right now there is one for $36 with prime shipping. I got a used one for 29.95, and but so far it works great. It is on the Suddenlink recommended modem list as well.

That is the router I bought, but you really won't need anything like that one if you don't care about WirelessN. Together I paid $130 for the two.

I bought my little brother this set and he loves it. It's not big, but it fits your budget without it being from Toy'r'Us.

Search on YouTube for reviews and demos to see if you like it.

I had a lot of fun playing a knockoff version of Hedbandz back in college. Never played Dream Date but I found this on Amazon:

I can't imagine it being worth the price they are asking for it though! Can we count on you to be there next Saturday?

Edit: there's this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VOOG70/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_2?pf_rd_p=1944687522&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000SJ9IEW&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1P2SFQPT9JZ81WZZVS38

Have you just tried the toothpaste/compounds?

You need to actually sand them down progressively with something like this. Then hit it with a polishing compound, and then a UV protective coating.

Xbox 360 Wired Controller works flawlessly for everything. Bought this without even owning a 360. Other third-party (and cheaper) controller certified for the 360 should work similarly well. My buddy has a cheaper Mad Catz one that works. It just uses a different driver, but Windows 7 should be able to find it automatically. Only hassle is having to separately set up the controller profiles for different games/emulators.

> Still not going to be cheap though.

Cost isn't really the point now...like I said my wife and I both game, we have netflix and hulu and a couple other internet services, I do a lot of online sales and business, and I require internet access for work. We rely so much on having net access that if we hadn't been assured of having service we likely would not have bought this house. Paying $1000 for equipment to piggyback on a friend's service is a lot cheaper than paying $60/mo for service that doesn't work.

I'm certain I'm missing something, though. Looking at the PowerBeam AC seems like what I want, but am I missing a part here? Is it just buy two of those things, put them on poles, point them at each other, and then connect them to our respective routers/switches? $400 seems too cheap to solve my problem here.

Even if the problem is just replacing capacitors due to The Plague, I doubt you could get somebody to do it for less than the $130 a new one costs.

Like these bead breaker stands? I thought about getting one but my buddy that rides dirt bikes all the time insisted that I didn't need one. The tire spoons eventually got the bead off, it took about 3 passes around the rim to do it though. I ordered the bead breaker pro lever/spoons but they got lost in transit on the way here twice and I borrowed my friend's dirtbike spoons.
