If (like me) you would miss that hot tea/coffee like drink in your day it might be worth trying some different green/black/herbal teas to find one you like?
I find people adapt first to fruity or carob based teas if they are used to milk then build up a taste for the less sweet flavours (I have a lot of different tea/coffee drinks!).

Green teas vary a lot but for tea bags I like these https://www.amazon.co.uk/teapigs-Feng-Green-Tea-Total/dp/B005TKCO8C/
They are not cheap for tea bags but I get two pint mugs out of one tea bag. Good green teas are intended to be used more than once.

I also like sencha and I have a tiny japanese tea pot for that which is dead classy like. :D

Oh stop it! Look what I have found on Amazon for 拢4.99

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Naissance-Cold-Pressed-Castor-100ml/dp/B004RG9ZC2/ref=sr_1_5_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1521712931&sr=1-5&keywords=castor+oil&dpID=41Gimg9rHBL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

It tells you everything you can do with it. Recommends you mix it with a carrier oil, such as sweet almond. Now you can get a bottle of sweet almond oil from Asda for less than two quid. It is on the hair product aisle where the Indian hair products are. Also seen it in Superdrug where the curly hair stuff is. Shall we order it?!?! 馃槈馃槸馃か

I read loads and ended up confused.

The two that I'd recommend, in order, are The Complete Low FODMAP Diet by Dr Sue Shepherd and Dr Peter Gibson (Sue Shepherd being the leading researcher of FODMAP at an Australian uni)

and this one :
https://www.amazon.co.uk/IBS-Elimination-Diet-Cookbook-Low-FODMAP-ebook/dp/B01ILZPROO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1524852691&sr=8-1&keywords=the+ibs+elimination+diet+and+cookbook

Good luck Blanche, those books made a huge difference for me. Read the Sue Shepherd one first and try to focus on getting wheat, onion and garlic out of your diet initially. Eating out is difficult as are ready meals! You may be able to introduce all of them again later on.

Would anybody like to talk about the book they last read? 馃槉

Mine was The Bone Field by Simon Kernick. It is a crime story - two unsolved murders of young women in the late 80s/early 90s link together.

I really enjoyed reading it. It definitely had me wanting to find out what happened but the narrator was annoying - one of those superman tough detectives - and some parts were implausible. Also lots of character changes and that was a bit confusing! 馃榿

I am reading it鈥檚 sequel now.
