I am finally happy playing an emulator because of this adapter

I own it on SNES (and Wii) but I'm replaying super metroid: redesign (I love the new physics!) and I can finally use an original controller for it! My old 12 button gamepad still is great, though.

PARTS LIST:

1. It starts with making a baby metroid perler. You can find the original sprite at the spriters-resource Pick your favorite!
   
   
2. Pick out the colors you require. Here is a handy chart. You can get perler beads at most hobby stores (Joanns, Hobby Lobby, Michaels)
   
   
3. Acquire pegboard. here's an example It comes with parchment paper. follow the directions for melting with standard clothing iron (Steam setting should be off)
   
   
4. Pick out jar. Choose cylinder hard edges.
   
   
5. Acquire Water beads here. Note that you only need 1tsp for 16-20oz. They expand 300x their size.
   
   
6. Fill jar 1/3 full of water beads and place baby metroid centered in and level in the jar.
   
   
7. Fill remaining portion of jar with water beads so the sprite stays still. Now fill the jar slowly with bottled water so all voids are filled. Go ahead and give it a couple taps / shakes for the bubbles to be released.
   
   
8. Pick up base light. I really recommend this one. It has a rubberized sleeve that has good tacticity so the jar won't slip off.
   
   
9. ENJOY!

Samus is about 4 inches. About 10 points of articulation. The paint job on the Varia Suit figure is better than the Gravity. Phazon suit is "okay" it doesn't quite match up to the color scheme of the game. I got the gravity suit and phazon suit figures for$8.99 retail price which is pretty cheap. The metallic varia suit I got for for $20 on amazon. The metroids were only $3 at Target. here Overall, I think for the price, they're worth if consider you have to pay a fortune for pretty much any other Samus figure. These ones are nice to have.

I'd actually strongly suggest ordering a usb sensor bar/wiimote adapter and using an actual wiimote/nunchuk. It's the way the game was designed to be played, and it really does play best that way. They're not too expensive, about 20 bucks on amazon, and IMO they're totally worth it.

You can't beat the original; it's amazing. That's not to say anything bad about 2, just... Prime 1 took my love and passion for Metroid that I got from Super Metroid and amplified it to the next level.

Ok, for the sake of argument let's say that you are right and there were no price drops until Black Friday. Even then, only 3 months after Other M released (August 21, 2010) the game was already being heavily discounted! Super Mario Galaxy 2 was released on May 23, 2010 and is still at $50 from retailers! The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - a game that launched with the Wii nearly 7 years ago - is at $20. Metroid: Other M is sitting anywhere between five and fifteen dollars everywhere. On top of that, those titles sold many, many more copies than Other M at a higher price point. I'm at a loss for how you can claim that Other M made plenty of money, when it is quite clear from the fact that it was being discounted so heavily in the first place so early after release indicates trouble. First party Nintendo games tend to hold retail value for a very, very long time! I mean, to put it in perspective, Metroid Prime 3, which came out 3 years before Other M, retails at $20 on gamestop and $40 on amazon. Other M brought in an abysmally low amount of revenue compared to what is expected by a first party Nintendo title. You can't get around that.

Yeah, I bought one of these four or five years back and it works great. I use it for a lot of emulation stuff.

The Metallic Suit Version is pretty great too

Did anyone else get a prompt from Amazon to preorder? I got an alert from Amazon yesterday, and according to Amazon, it's Dec. 29, 2018. If you already have a Wii Remote + Nunchuck, you could buy Mayflash's DolphinBar as well. Makes it very easy to connect your Wii Remotes to your PC, especially if your bluetooth adapter isn't compatible with Dolphin.

It was part of a Prime/Gamecube bundle. The first disc is Prime and the second is like a demo disc for Prime 2.

That's sort of a misconception. I do realize that it is true, there are people who don't like it, but that can be said for any game. If we are talking generally speaking, then it doesn't appear to be true. If you look around the internet, you'll see that most critic and user scores give it a rather high rating. You could have made your own zero suit by sewing one, it takes zero effort to buy a spandex zero suit from amazon (https://www.amazon.ca/Miccostumes-Womens-Samus-Cosplay-Costume/dp/B07N8TZ5XQ/ref=sr_1_13?keywords=zero+suit+samus&qid=1557085834&s=gateway&sr=8-13) and wear it.

It's like those people who "cosplay" D.Va by wearing the exact same bodysuit instead of making their own. Cosplay usually revolves around making your own costume, people who cosplay usually don't have any appreciation for people who just buy body suits as their entire cosplay.

How is the quality? I'm sure you can't position it like a figma but is it at least decent?
