My suggestion is to get a smaller camera insert if the capsule is too big. Like this. Cushion with whatever your packing and leave the cam on top.

About it being too small. The Rhake doesn't have the sort of expandability that molle bags do, or even Arkiv if we're sticking to MW. But you can still expand it. You can fix pouches to the sides of the Rhake using the mid-straps. For even more expansion slot another pouch underneath using the hook at the bottom. But from there on, if you need more space to lug things, then a regular backpack may not be that suitable. Personally I'd rethink what I pack.

The pc slot and easily accessible pockets really makes this the ideal flight bag for me. Been on every international flights since I got it.

That said there's at least 5 less than great design decisions about it that makes me shake my head in disappointment.

Thanks! I’m using this tiny lens case https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A45JE44/ which allows me to carry my 50mm and 35mm.

It can be but if you are packing and unpacking you have to adjust the straps every time. It was too much trouble for me so I swapped to these
