Hi again.

I'm not sure of your location but I came up with the following:
Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX @Amazon.co.uk - This is the original link called out in the blog post.
NF-A4x10 FLX @CCLOnline.com - £10.74 with an option to collect locally.
Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX @ShinyHardware.co.uk - Currently out of stock but it's £13.99 with free UK delivery.

Sunon HA40101V4-000U-999 @Digikey.co.uk- ObsoleteHA40101V4-1000U-A99 (replacement for HA40101V4-000U-999) @Digikey.co.uk £3.63 If you're really looking for an inexpensive solution, this should be the original equipment replacement fan for your unit. I don't believe this fan comes with any connectors (just two stripped wires) so you'll have to buy a new connector or reuse the one off the old fan.
You need to size this via power rather than ampacity (which is a common mistake).
Pdc=(Amps)*(Volts) => P = 1.2 * 12 = 14.4W per motor * 8 motors = 115.2W * 1.5 = 172.8W
So you want to size this array for whatever psu you can get right around that wattage. Get something with a bit of adjustment. As far as getting power to the system, just get you a set of terminal blocks with some din rail and a PSU, or some kind of enclosure/box. For wire use any old 2 conductor cable. You could even use ethernet cable between them and be fine. 18-2 wire like on garage door openers would work well.
You can go to the supply house and get the terminals, but you could just as easily screw a piece of this to plywood:
https://www.amazon.com/Erayco-Terminal-Brackets-UK-2-5BG-Aluminum/dp/B07KWSZVR9/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=35mm+din+terminal+blocks&qid=1569294295&s=industrial&sr=1-10
Screw something like this to plywood:
https://www.amazon.com/LRS-200-12-Switching-Supply-Single-Output/dp/B0131UU9E2/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=12v+psu&qid=1569294116&s=industrial&sr=1-4
And go to town. I was going to source out the parts, but that kit has pretty much all you need.
Still kinda new to the profession honestly but we have two main options
An electric version like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Handheld-Stripping-Machine-Stripper-Enamelled/dp/B075TWDLG2/ref=asc_df_B075TWDLG2/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309869401414&hvpos=1o8&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3913639208841872692&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1021449&hvtargid=pla-570534602304&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=63364097444&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=309869401414&hvpos=1o8&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3913639208841872692&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1021449&hvtargid=pla-570534602304
Or something kinda like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Knipex-1511120-Coated-Wire-Stripping-Tweezers/dp/B003RWS8XE/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?keywords=magnetic+wire+stripper&qid=1575012708&sr=8-5
Hopefully those links work, you can also burn the insulation off with a torch or something
(Hopefully it's okay to post links here)
Okay, interesting. Based in the location then, I'm guessing it's an attempt to keep the vacuumed air from getting to the electronics.
Old one is in decent condition, but definitely no oil left. Can't seem to find new ones near its size. I cleaned it up and am thinking of soaking it in maybe 75W-90 gear oil. Think that would work, or maybe just heat it up in a bit of bearing grease?
edit Now that I know what it's called and can actually search for it, it looks like some people recommend a teflon silicone lubricant for them. Got some of thislying around, so maybe will try that.
Great, thanks.
I do believe that the speed of that fan can be reduced by reducing the voltage.
To reduce the voltage: https://us.reddit.com/r/AskElectronics/wiki/design/power#wiki_reducing_voltage_of_a_power_supply
Buy a ready-made buck converter module:
https://www.amazon.com/Converter-Voltage-Adjustable-Step-up-Circuit/dp/B06XWSV89D/ref=pd_cp_263_2/131-4260846-4210816
Oh, wow. Thank you for this!
And now to admit how much I really don't know.
I am trying to find a couple that attaches to [this servo](http://YANSHON Digital Servo Motor Gear High Torque Servo, Control Angle 360, 25KG https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SMVFQCW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hVB3DbFXXHQFQ) that can hold a 1/4" shaft. Everything I've read online says that if you count the teeth you'll most likely get the right coupler. It's a 25T but the couplers I order don't seem to fit. Any help would be appreciated.
Get a worm drive motor like this and at the point where the blinds are at the very bottom and the string is at the top tie a knot and attach one single string that goes down to the motor and also attach some little collars on the string permanently and add a 2:1 pulley advantage so when the motor pulls 1 foot then the rope for the blinds moves 2 feet and the collars will attach to limit switches so you don't break anything and you will be fine

More competent folks than I can comment on this, but would this fan speed controller (well, the version for the correct voltage) work for this use?
I did, I get a constant 23.4ish volts and .8 amps. So I guess that's the problem.
Could you tell me how high should I go with the amps and if it's not too much could you link a product that can help me?
Thanks
Could this work?:
