Ouf, concussions can really get rough.
Had a minor concussion a few years back that I still feel effects from, actually :/ there are times where I just can't even look at my computer screen without getting severe headaches and feeling like I'm going to vomit. It's terrible.
No clue what the severity is, but highly recommend installing a blue light filter, or having something like this on your phone/computer. It REALLY helped recovery and with post-concussion syndrome!
Grats on getting to play in the playoffs, good luck next season, and good luck with the recovery!
For anyone who needs a mic, here's a nice cheap headset mic for $11.50 that'll work perfectly for Tagpro: http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-Audio-326-Stereo-Headset/dp/B001S2RCXW/
I hear some people use a cheap mic like this. They also sell 50 mics for ~$50. I also recommend using your money on smile.amazon.com since they donate .5% of the cost of your purchase to a charity of your choice.
And if anyone has headphones and would be fine using a clip-on mic, here's one that's currently $9.75 but often goes cheaper.

Used it before I got my headset and it's perfect for tagpro.
Mumble - Mumble is the place where we will meet for tryouts/practices/games. The channel stated above will be underneath the NLTP tree. There's a damn lot of channels there, but hunt through them and you'll find us. Mumble is a VoIP server, meaning it requires a mic. If you don't have a mic, you'll still be able to text chat, but you'll quickly learn the value of owning a mic. For information about connecting to mumble, see the TagPro Wiki - Mumble. There you'll find instructions as well as a short video on reaching us.
Pro Tip: Mumble has a rudimentary search function. If you click on the box with all the names and channels (or just click on your own name), you can start typing the name of a person or room and the scroll bar will jump to that place.
