We can talk about our experiences and personal stories about why we love the Knicks, but I think you will in time forge your own stories. If you decide to follow the Knicks, you are entering potentially a very exciting and interesting period in the team's history, with Kristaps Porzingis as a budding NBA superstar.

However, if you want to know about what makes the Knicks special, I'd recommend watching a few documentaries.

The first is the NBA Dynasty Series, which includes an overview of the franchise, notable moments, and a bunch of iconic games from history. You can see the set here, not sure if you can watch it online.(maybe you can check)

https://www.amazon.com/NBA-Dynasty-Knicks-Complete-History/dp/B000AM4PB8

The others are maybe the Knicks related 30 for 30 documentaries. Those are 'When the Garden was Eden' and 'Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs The New York Knicks'

Both can be found here:

http://www.espn.com/30for30/film?page=whenthegardenwaseden

http://www.espn.com/30for30/film?page=winning-time-reggie-miller-vs.-the-new-york-knicks

In addition, you can always search youtube for old Knicks games, knicks related videos and anything else you can find. There are plenty.

Hope this helps.

Watching the Starters right now and they are even digging into Karl. Had no idea Karl wrote another book previously - https://www.amazon.com/This-Games-Best-Dont-Screwing/dp/0312965761. Seems like a riveting book. Honestly, though, it seems to me that the name of the book speaks about George Karl a little bit.

My wife and I are expecting our first (a boy) in October, and I put this on the baby shower registry:

I did! I was the one who asked the Samuel Beckett question. I think this is the book he suggested, but I need to double check.

Took me a ton of searching, but I found this one the other day http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018RNTWL4?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

EDIT: Damn they seem to be sold out of XL :( Hope it can help someone else in the thread though

I know people kinda hate him at this point, but Isola and Mike Wise's book "Just Ballin'" is a must-read for that 1999 season:

At least we'll have a system in place. Too bad his playbook is available online:

sorry to nitpick, but what you pointed out is not the new york state flag but in fact the new york CITY flag. https://www.amazon.com/York-State-Brand-LARGE-Banner/dp/B000G2OZ6W. I'm from upstate new york where i come from a long line of disgruntled people that is tired of new york city influence bleeding over to other parts of the state. New York City does not equal New York essentially.

Other than that, dope vlog. Keep doing your thing.
