If you're interested my friend from work wrote this book The Valley. Set in the North East and explores a lot of historical sites around our region with his own illustrations. He is a bit older and used to build ships back in the day in Sunderland so might be just what your Grandma needs. Bob will be chuffed as well if he hears people are reading his book. It's really good as well.
