There's a better one on Amazon that has a touchpad as well. Plus the keyboard is magnetic so it can stay in the case or remove it. I have one and it's pretty awesome for what it is..
The only thing I don't like about it is the kickstand on the back is a bit shorter than would be ideal but I just put something under it and it's fine.

That being said, android tablets don't make the best laptops. It is super handy for the times you do need it though I find it's easier to just use the touchscreen for pretty much everything aside from typing entire paragraphs or something.. And even that I would usually do on my phone unless it's multiple paragraphs that need to be super organized.
If you really want a small cheap typing machine I would grab a cheap chromebook.

Honestly? I'm running stock, rooted, and there is nothing I don't like about it. The fact that I'm rooted allows me to change my CPU speed, so If I want better performance, or better battery life, I've got it.

For accessories, I just use the Moko cover, found here:
http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Lightweight-Smart-shell-Google-Samsung/dp/B00AHBKW2S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1370792163&sr=8-1&keywords=nexus+10+moko

The only thing I can say I don't like about it, or didn't like, is the price/availability.

To me, it feels great in my hands, is light weight, and the grippy back may feel cheap, but it's good enough for me.

Edit: I have a Galaxy s3, so I don't mind the choice of limited apps. I use it mainly for entertainment, like games, reddit, or netflix.

No, haven't seen anything like that yet. I have the MoKo Smart-shell and love it. I had it for my 7 first and then got it for the 10. Fit both perfectly and work great. Just my .02

this is the adapter I have. I just tried it, and my Grouper didn't see it. however, Bluestacks recognized it on my computer when I was using it on Project 64. so I thought it might work. apparently it works on Bluestacks because Windows has the drivers. there's probably a way to get it to work, but I haven't looked into it and can't find anything on getting that specific adapter.

I have a friend with one of these controllers because unlike me, he never had a real N64. he borrowed one of my controllers and adapter for a week while he gave me the cash and I ordered that for him. the next time I see him, I'll try that with my OTG on the emulator. that might work better than the May Flash adapter for that. I'll let you know if that works when I get a chance to test it.

I use the Poetic Keybook and I love it. Nice sturdy kickstand on the back, comes with a Bluetooth keyboard (should you need one), the faux leather feels nice. Solid product in my opinion.

I found out that the Nexus refuses to identify any micro USB charger that isn't plugged directly into the wall so I bought the Pogo cable. It is expensive especially for a 2 year old device. The Nexus 10 is still fantastic and beats the Surface 2 RT, iPad Air 2 and a few other tablets I've tried extensively. Freeing up the micro USB port is what convinced me to buy it.

There are alternative generic chargers that are $10-$12 cheaper such as this one.

u/liquidnitro28 · 4 pointsr/Nexus10

I have the Poetic SLIMLINE Case and it is great. You can fold the front cover back to prop up the tablet if you want also. I would personally get a bluetooth keyboard. I have seen a few on amazon that look nice.

u/slawkenbergius · 1 pointr/Nexus10

I have the Moko Ultra Slim and it's great. Noticeably thinner than the regular slimline case, the magnet clasp and (ipad-esque) smart cover stand work very well, and the back is nicely hard while also being pleasant to the touch. I just carry around a regular Amazon bluetooth keyboard which works well enough. The only real complaint is that the cover doesn't close if you have a Pogo charger plugged in, but that's not a terribly huge deal.

HP North American Power Charger for HP TouchPad - (Retail Package) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0055QYJJM/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_5Ih1tb1ZYEWXX0GQ

This is the one I use. its more portable and a better over all charger then the nexus one.

Edit: I have a pogo cable and I use it with this charger, it works perfectly.

u/Tynach · 2 pointsr/Nexus10

I got this one for my birthday. It's absolutely amazing, I do recommend it!

u/okstate17 · 1 pointr/Nexus10

I saw this one, it looks nice and pretty decent reviews, think I'm between that one and this http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-KeyFolio-Universal-Removable-K39519US/dp/B00604YU4C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407810595&sr=8-1&keywords=google+nexus+10+keyboard+case Anyone have input on this? looks like its not only for the nexus 10 so thinking the cutouts wont be where they need to be.

u/sweetbacon · 2 pointsr/Nexus10

I'm considering it for USBOTG (USB On-The-Go) so I can use the cable I have to expand connected storage using thumb drives. I'd also like to run droidwall to restrict some network communications, other encryption tools for secure storage, and I'd like a SSH server on it for work as well as other system level *nix utilities and controls.

Then there is the whole custom ROM thing of course. Once you go there, it's difficult to go back to stock (which I learned on another device).

Edit: Oh and adblocking or other privacy increasing tools.

u/larsgj · 1 pointr/Nexus10

I have this one: khomo keyboard case. It's great and have the magnetic lock and can stand in both portrait and landscape.

u/gid0ze · 1 pointr/Nexus10

Ok, posting separately so you don't miss this. Did some more research, and the market is absolutely flooded with fake samsung chargers, it's really stupid. But this http://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Charger-Google-Samsung-Transformer/dp/B009STIJWA/ref=cm_srch_res_rtr_1 charger on Amazon has lots of Nexus 10 owners happy saying that it charges fast if not better than the stock charger... but it's obviously not going to work with a pogo cable, and the charger will be junk when the micro usb cable goes bad. I've gone through who knows how many micro usb cables myself, and I'm actually pretty easy on electronics, never broken a phone yet--knock on wood.

u/bluesquared · 3 pointsr/Nexus10

I've heard good things about the MoKo Ultra Slim and have one on in the mail.

u/johnyapplsede · 2 pointsr/Nexus10

have you considered something like this? You could use any USB keyboard with it, even a wireless USB keyboard.

u/FreydNot · 2 pointsr/Nexus10

I have this one http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AG0D61O but I don't like it very much. It's missing mouse controls.

I recently got this one http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BALK9CM and it works better than I thought it would. It's not great for typing a novel, but for simple controls and typing a short email it gets the job done. It is deceptively small (5715012.5mm).

u/exoendo · 1 pointr/Nexus10

Try out the moko ultra slim.

http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Lightweight-Smart-shell-Google-Samsung/dp/B00AHBKW2S/

From what I have seen it has better reviews than the poetic case.

It's absurdly thin, and it gets the job done. It's also dirt cheap at around 10 bucks. (i got mine for 5... i guess i was lucky)

u/miffi · 1 pointr/Nexus10

Get a bluetooth keyboard and watch your tablet woes disappear. This is the one I have: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009JPBPWO/ref=oh_details_o00_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My case has a built in stand so I find the combination of the two to be great.

u/CptnKickass · 2 pointsr/Nexus10

There's USB controllers that are the style of generic, N64, NES, SNES, Xbox, PS, or whatever else you want. You can use them via a cheap micro USB to USB adapter. I use the N64 and generic ones myself.

Non-mobile:

u/Doktor_Rob · 3 pointsr/Nexus10

I have the Moko Slim-Fit Multi-angle Folio Cover Case and it has a cut out area so you can attach the pogo connector with the case closed. If you really want to have it connected while in a standing position, you might consider getting a tablet stand like this one that leaves room for the connector. You might have to leave it hanging over the edge of your shelf or desk, but it would work.

But, no, I do not believe there are any 90° pogo cables and even if there were, I doubt they'd be flush enough to fit in your case.

u/Nemesis0320 · 1 pointr/Nexus10

Just like this. This bad boy is just a little longer landscape, a little shorter portrait, and is able to fit in my pocket along with my N10 with no stress. I have had it since December, and have used it about every day for 4-5 hours. Still has not died on me.

Pogo OR hp charger:

I don't think this is helpful if you don't already own one... but I own an hp Touchpad usb charger and have charged my Nexus 10 with it every night for over a year. The charging speed is phenomenal and I have no battery issues.

Full disclosure, I can't compare the charging speed to the Pogo charger (I don't own one) but I can compare to regular 1.0A which is horribly painful AND 2.1A which is meh. This is definitely better than 2.1A.

Final benefit to the hp Touchpad charger is that you can charge any phone or tablet with it that uses a usb charging port. I occassionally push super-fast emergency charging to my Nexus 5 phone on the hp Touchpad charger. I've read that fast charging isn't good for a battery, but occassional use on my Nexus 5 and my former Galaxy Nexus had 0 obvious negative side effects over the last couple years.

Note: You must use the combo of wall plug + hp usb cable for the fast charging. If you use a different wall plug or non-hp usb cable the whole thing reverts to a slow charging mode. Also, I never use the hp usb cable for data transfer. Might not be reliable on non-hp devices. I just use it for charging.

TL;DR ... Pogo is probably best, but a well-tested multi-purpose option is the hp Touchpad charger.
