Looks like it's Region A according to Amazon US.
As for region 4, it looks like they only have the DVD version.
I really wish we would get a UK Nichijou release.

They are currently being translated by Vertical comics and the last volume is the 9th one, which came out yesterday
The last one ( 10th ) will be released sep. 19th
Edit: for the scans, all thr first 9 volumes and the first chapters of volume 10 are translated on mangahere and mangafox IIRC
