Went on a journey to research better alternatives from a company standpoint at least.

What I found is this company: "Krisdonia"

Here's a Krisdonia product that is similar to the OmniMobile 25600:

Krisdonia 50000mAh Laptop Power Bank (185Wh)

They also sell a USB C converter if that's something you might want.

As for a substitute for the OmniCharge Ultimate:

Krisdonia also made this absolute unit.

Please keep in mind that none of them can be charged via solar. However, while they're charged via outlets, they both also support pass through charging. To use the pass through charging from what I can tell, is that you press the power button for 2 seconds while the power bank is being recharged. Works for both of the models I listed.

I did find other banks like these two, but neither of them were particularly powerful enough for that laptop of yours! And I myself I'm looking into powerful power banks for future reference as I am a power user. Both of those products, while they aren't as feature heavy as OmniCharge's offerings, the features they do have either are at worst, slightly lower than OmniCharge products' specs, and at best, completely annihilates them. Case and point, the capacity of the two power banks from Krisdonia I listed. And to my knowledge that is one of the main issues with OmniCharge right now outside of customer service, is the dodgy cheap chinese battery cells they're using. That point in particular is why I myself went to look for something possible better.

Hope this helps!

PS: The 50000 mAh powerbank is roughly the price of the OmniMobile, while the 60000 mAh powerbank is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the OmniUltimate.

I wanted to respond to this thread sooner, but I had to shift through the many pages on Amazon looking up vague and broad terms, then go through those pages of each of those terms, which is how I finally found Krisdonia. From what I can tell, they're very unknown but they sell good products. Stellar even. I'm personally eying the 60000 mAh one as I'm not a expert when it comes to DC shenanigans, so I rather just have a outright outlet.

Sorry for the long reply! Really wanted to make sure I put as much information as possible for what it is. Hope this helps!

This panel works great with my Omni20, the Omni is designed to work best with an unregulated solar source. FYI panels almost Never output their "rated" watt output. This is an absolutely best case number if you are in the Sahara under clear skies with the sun at its closest possible point to the earth. you can generally get 50% under nice bright conditions, if you are looking to charge the Omni at about 45w, this panel will get you very close.

nice work! I have been using my DC out port on this to charge my OMNI in times of need. I love the versatility of this thing!

Chances are the third pin doesn't do a digital "handshake" but rather is connected to a certain resistance value (this is often used for smartphone chargers). But without knowing what it should be, it would be hard to reproduce it.

However, there exist adapters on Amazon to convert it to a barrel connector. This should work, as long as you get another 5.5x2.5mm adapter to plug into it.

I'm going on just specs and illustrations from their page so be aware:

>My main issue, is that I can't use my OmniCharge Pro adapters, cables or power supply with the Ultimate.
>
>Existing Pro PSU (I own two, old-style power adapter and newer "oval" power adapter). Both are 2.1mm, so won't charge the Ultimate
>
>Existing USB-A to 2.1mm barrel adapter. Works great to charge the Pro (although slow) from any USB-A port, such as the USB3 ports on my Anker USB-PD charger.
>
>Dell PSU to 2.1mm male adapter, allows me to charge the Pro with my Dell's PSU, leaving the Omni PSU back at home.

This is where I'm hung up on. All of the issues above should be able to be resolved with the adapter you ordered if the corresponding adapters are all male 2.1mm going into the DC port on the Ultimate. This would solve your issues with existing adapters.

> That's unfortunately DC out, not input, so I still can't use my existing Dell PSU to power the Ultimate, nor can I use my Anker USB-PD 60W adapter to recharge the Ultimate over USB-C. It's a chicken-and-egg problem.

From this sub somewhere, Omnicharge has said that you can charge from a USB-C power adapter so I'm not sure where you're getting that it can't.

From the Ultimate's specs, it can't handle more than 90W input source. Interesting your Innergie adapter works. Then again, it may only draw up to 90W. If that's the case, I'd just use the Ultimate's adapter save the size/weight.

This is how I see it working in your case barring any Ultimate output restrictions:

1: Charge Ultimate: Innergie -> DC port (just to be clear, the Amazon adapter would also allow you to charge and output to anything that has a 2.1mm barrel. If you're outputting, you'd need to use a male to male adapter)

I use these tips and will fit just about anything with a 2.1mm barrel: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HORSXZ0/

2: Charge Macbook Pro: USB-C to USB-C

3: Charge Dell: MR30 out -> 2.1mm male to 2.1mm male -> 2.1mm female to Dell OR Charge Macbook Air: MR30 out 2.1mm female -> 2.1mm male to MagSafe.

> Since it's unlikely the Ultimate will actually power the Dell without draining as it's providing power, even with a PSU to the wall, I'd prefer to carry my Dell's 180W PSU with me and use that to charge the Omni + Dell as needed, and use the Omni to power/charge the MacBooks.

From your scenario, you could carry two adapters at most (the Dell and Ultimate charger) to charge everything. Even if you go with a USB-C brick instead of the Ultimate's charger, you could output from both the DC and MR30 ports. Maybe we're saying the same thing but missing out details?

On a side note, why do you need an Air and a Pro and a Dell? Do you need them all simultaneously?

I would look at something like this Renogy 50w Mono Panel if you want a fixed panel. It's over the max that an OmniCharge will take, but that gives you overhead for non-ideal conditions and the OmniCharge won't eat more than it can take.

I'm looking at that panel for myself.

I ordered the 20+ on Amazon and mine came within three days, however it was DOA and I just returned it and purchased another one.
