I just read Buck Owens' new autobiography, Buck 'Em!. It was thoroughly enjoyable. I never much liked his music, and he wasn't outlaw, per se (he didn't even drink), but that guy led an incredibly successful life, with the touring, the songwriting, the decades on Hee-Haw, the numerous successful business ventures (he owned radio stations around the country, as well as a TV station). It shows how a normal guy becomes successful, and it does so in human terms I can fathom.

hahah it is a slow sub but it is a great book. Also if you didn't know the new George Jones bio came out recently as well and it is very good.

It was part of a live show that Willie did in Austin, Texas. Ray did several tunes with him that night. You can buy the DVD on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Willie-Nelson-Special-Guest-Charles/dp/B002LIKM8O
