This is a decent budget laptop. If you're just looking to play WoW or other MMO's this should do the trick without breaking the bank. Plus, it's got an SSD, a respectable 1050Ti, and 8gb of ram, so you could play plenty of other games at low to medium settings.

It's not a new board, was released in Feb 2017. Uses one of the 3xx chipsets; latest gen is 5xx (tho those are pricey since they're new and only the high-end X570 chipset is out).

There isn't much price difference between chipset 3xx and 4xx boards, so I'd look for a B450 chipset board like https://www.amazon.com/ASRock-ATX-Motherboard-B450-PRO4/dp/B07FVYKJHR

Eh not really. I'd spend an extra $5 and get this Acer. Better brand, lower response, FreeSync, and 75Hz
