Just as a preface, i wrote this comment somehwere else and am using it as a skeleton for your question in particular, forgive me if some parts dont answer your question, but all this should be useful regardless. I also added stuff specifically for you. Enjoy.
I love music in general but I’m absolutely obsessed with Prince. The music genius. People don’t believe me when I tell them how expansive that mans discography was! I want to tell you a secret tho... Listen in whatever Order you desire. Eventually you’ll go back to all of them more than once anyways, even the ones you dont like, you’ll give them another chance. You’ll change your mind too, some stuff yiu wont initially like, but that just means you werent ready for it yet. Go listen to something else, come back after a couple albums, you might be surprised you like it now Happened to me many times. All that matters is your experience listening.
I recently downloaded a file of a lot of his music and it’s like 10 gigs worth of stuff (Not expansive by any means). There’s just so much work this man did, it’s ridiculous. Im reading a book on him right now and you would think the man basically never slept the amount of work he put in (Not just for his own career but others as well) If you don’t like his 80s stuff (which there’s so much diversity in that decade alone your bound to like at least one album), then you’ll probably like something from the 90s, and if you don’t like anything from either of those decades, well he has some great 2000s stuff as well. I mean there’s some shit I could show you and you’d probably think it was snoop dogg, then I’d put shuffle on and you’d hear probably one of the greatest love ballads ever. The even crazier thing is almost every thing you hear on most of his songs is him. Most albums he produces, composes, arranges and writes himself, of course some things he’d bring in others for. That love ballad I linked, he is doing everything you hear on that song except saxophone and trumpet. He is even his own back up vocals!
I have a few dvds of his concerts and hot damn this man knew how to command an audience. He was born for it. No one puts on a concert like that nowadays, do yourself a favor and get the Purple Rain 1985 DVD it the Sign O the Time Blue Ray. Well worth the purchase. I would have done anything to see him live in person. Here he is live in 1982 after the release of his fourth album Controvery. Here he is in 1988 during his Lovesexy tour. Just watch his commanding presence and his guitar work. The guitar work is phenomenal. Everything about it.
I swear this mans music has changed me at my core. I can tell I’m a better lover because of it, I’ve never been able to please a women more then in the last few years of delving into his music. Just listen to this sex. The man was a sex symbol and there was a reason for it. I’ve been a lot more open in general as well, in all parts of my life. This isn’t the sole reason obviously lol but it definitely contributed. I actually just got a tattoo this month. I figure this music impacted me so profoundly that at this point I need to make it permanent.
Anyways I could talk about this literally all day, as you can see I’m very obsessed haha. It’s to the point where I think I’m annoying my friends, so i thought I’d release online instead hahah
Her are a couple hard to find albums:
Musicology - Funk/Soul/RnB
The Undertaker - Blues/Rock and also very hard to find as almost all physical copies destroyed
Emancipation - Pop/RnB/Funk this is just a short mix from a three disc album that runs 3 hours
Days of Soundboard - probably one of my favorite fake live shows lol it’s a collection of songs made to sound like a live performance, it’s still all him, this just isn’t an actual show he played. Great mix of everything here tbh and probably my favorite thing on this list.
Crystal Ball Part 1 and Part 2 - This is a three disc album as well but it’s full of unreleased material. Tons of great stuff here and it’s split between Part 1 being 80s and Part 2 being 90s
Heres a list of lesser known songs. This is literally only scratching the surface, this is a rabbit hole for sure. Ive once read that he had over 40 unreleased ready to go music videos for songs that were never released. He’d be so focused on one thing, lose interest and move on to the next thing. There’s probably enough music in his vault for an album a year indefinitely haha anyways this list includes things that should be some what easy to find. You should be able to find these between Youtube, Tidal, Apple, and Spotify. Mixcloud too.

Also here are my top 10 Prince albums as a seasoned fan. This list is definitely worth checking out if you can find the time and dedication. Again, this is only my opinion, many Prince fans would have differing lists because his catalogue is that massive. I would say most of my favorite albums would be in the unanimous masterpiece category by any Prince fan, but some of my choices are kind of out there as well, I’lll let you decide that.
There’s enough music here for months, enjoy music fans!!
If interested in the recording and event side of things Prince and the Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions: 1983 and 1984 by Duane Tudahl and The Vault by Uptown and Per Nilsen are great resources. Acquiring a physical copy of The Vault is pretty pricey so finding a PDF online would be your best bet.
Loved Picturing Prince such a beautiful collection of vignettes, it felt like getting behind the purple curtain a bit!
it doesn't ship until next month, but any fan would love this -

stylistically, price jumped around a lot, so we could give you the chronological release order, but the very next album won't sound like the previous in many cases. for that reason, you can start from the beginning and move up or jump around. if you liked purple rain, there is an album of b-sides that were recorded at the same time and released on the 12" singles back in the 80s. they have the same vibe as purple rain, as well an an expanded edition of purple rain just released which has even more songs that have the same feeling as the purple rain album.
I used this one as a source on a paper I did in grad school: https://www.amazon.com/Prince-Inside-Music-Ronin-Ro-ebook/dp/B0051O9MFO/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1522874219&sr=1-1&keywords=prince+ronin+ro
It's recently been updated to account for his last years.
Another great one that isn't so much a biography as it is insight into his artistry on the Purple Rain album and film: https://www.amazon.com/Lets-Go-Crazy-Prince-Making-ebook/dp/B00IWTWLZI/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1522874324&sr=1-1&keywords=let%27s+go+crazy+prince
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Prince-Sign-O-Times-DVD-x/dp/B0009PZ89E there you go. I have it man it's the best.
Wanna hear something crazy? Some people actually just go and buy stuff. It's pretty easy to do.
For new, I would recommend: Monoprice Monolith, Fluance RT-80, [Teac TN-300] (https://www.amazon.com/Teac-TN-300SE-WA-Analog-Turntable-Walnut/dp/B075CP5RL1/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=Teac+TN-300&qid=1569705867&sr=8-2), Audio Technica AT-LP3 Fully Automatic but I personally prefer hunting for used vintage Japanese or German turntables at thrift shops, classifieds, pawn shops, vintage audio stores, etc.

Amazon exclusive though. If I could rip it without getting into deep doodoo I would.
Well they do have the remastered soundtrack that comes with the deluxe album cover and poster but does not include the new content nor any of the content on the third CD.
Also here's a preorder link: https://www.amazon.com/1999-Super-Deluxe-5CD-1DVD/dp/B07XKW23LD/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=prince+1999+super+deluxe&qid=1568220257&s=gateway&sr=8-4
That is from Syracuse NY - March 30, 1985. The entire show was released on VHS way back when, but has not made it to any official digital format.
It may be available online somewhere, but if you still have a working VCR :
