Is this the best Power Save device to purchase? I have never used one before. Thanks for any help.

A Powersaves device is a little USB dongle which allows users to modify the save files of cartridge based games. It obviously doesn't work on digital downloads. Also, you can't directly edit the saves. You can only use premade codes for the game you put in.

Anyway, I've heard that there's no difference between the [Powersave] (http://www.amazon.com/Action-Replay-Powersaves-Cheat-Device-Nintendo/dp/B00CQ9L1Z6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1411653798&sr=8-2&keywords=3ds+powersave) and the [Powersave Pro] (http://www.amazon.com/Action-Replay-PowerSaves-Pro-Nintendo-3DS/dp/B00IVJ1M7M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1411653798&sr=8-1&keywords=3ds+powersave) except that the pro is supposed to be the American version and the other is for all other regions. Not sure if this is true. If your 3DS is PAL, I'd go with the non-Pro version, otherwise go with the Pro.

No, Powersaves is just for the 3DS games. If you want to gen you need an Action Replay, I use one of these
