South Florida-based, $2 billion fixed income institutional money manager is seeking an Investment Analyst to assist in the portfolio management process. The position consists of supporting all facets of fixed income portfolio management including security research and portfolio analytics. Ideal candidates will have at least three years’ experience in the securities industry, preferable in fixed income and possess strong analytical skills. The candidate must be energetic, personable, and well-rounded, with a proven ability to provide consistent and thoughtful credit analysis on corporations in a variety of sectors. This person will also perform relative value analysis and run risk analytics on taxable portfolios. Responsibilities include:
• Research and analyze financial and market data to assess the underlying credit strength of corporations within the investment grade fixed income universe

• Present and defend credit views and research findings while interacting with the Team’s investment committee
• Coordinate the production of presentations on taxable bond market conditions and evolving credit trends
• Update, continually maintain and upgrade the SNW Asset Management proprietary credit research system
• Maintain/develop relative value models
• Be a point of contact on questions from portfolio managers, support staff and clients related to corporate credit positions and relative value within the fixed income marketplace
• Work closely with business development and client service teams to explain SNW Asset Management’s market positioning and credit calls

Requirements:

Looking to spend up to $1k on speakers. Does it make sense to upgrade the speakers at this point? The system sounds great, but I wonder if the smaller bookshelf speakers may be the “bottleneck” in my system. I currently have a home theater 5.1 type system with a dedicated subwoofer.
