Farrar Straus Giroux
I would like a manga called Azumanga Daioh (Paperback). Used please, cheapest at $10.85 with $3.99 shipping. Totaling $14.84, which I am not sure you can do.
It's honestly just a book, but I have a friend who isn't really wealthy and would love if he read this. He's a really nice guy, so I plan to give this to him for a gift- he loves most manga.
It's probably not the most needed thing on this thread, but hey- I seriously want the guy to be happy for once.
-edit1-
You're also doing an epic thing. Props to you. :)
And honestly hope if someone who really needs it, gets the money.
My boyfriend came back from the c-stop shop with a small surprise. Earlier we had been talking about Doritos (he works at Taco Bell) and I mentioned that my favorite were Cool Ranch. Typically, he's pretty absentminded so I never expected him to remember that, but he brought a bag home with some Vanilla Cokes, which are my favorite soda as well. It was just a really sweet gesture after a super busy day of work.
This book on Sacred Geometry would be a real treat as well!
I would really love a copy of Inheritance, by Christopher Paolini. I haven't read it yet and although I feel the series really took a bad turn, I'm optimistic for the final book, especially given how long it was in the works. If you've got something against Paolini, however, I'd be just as happy to receive The Lies of Locke Lamora/Red Seas Under Red Skies, The Name of The Wind/The Wise Man's Fear, or A Storm of Swords/A Feast for Crows. Hardcover preferred :)
These are all books I've either yet to read or have read and dearly loved. I've only just recently gotten into the habit of buying books (as opposed to getting them from the library) and, well, it's sort of addicting. Not so good for my wallet, especially as a college student.
For any of you at home reading along, I urge you to Locke Lamora and The Name of the Wind. Amazing, amazing reads.
There's a great fiction book where the plot involves chess. It's called The Eight. I think your brother would enjoy it. If you would like to add it to his Amazon wish list, I will get it for him along with another book. If not, I will just pick a book on his list and have Amazon send it to him. It's so great that you are supporting your brother. :-)
My son doesn't need this, but he would love to read it. He loves the movies. Thanks for the offer.
I have a really great simple, introductory philosophy book called A World of Ideas if you're interested. Philosophy really sharpens the critical thinking skills, makes you think and view the world from different perspectives, and gives you good ammo for an argument. I think it's a great thing for a 20 year old guy in college to read.
If you're not interested in that, I could send you some fiction. I will try to choose something that I think would be fitting for you.
I would like this book because I love Mindy Kaling and I think she's hilarious.
Hello. I am a student and books are expensive. I have lucky found some of the books I need on Amazon for not very much. I have a whole list of things I need here. I don't mind used books. In fact I prefer them. for these four books which I need the most it would be $22. : One, [two](http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/0873527909/ref=wl_it_of_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=1O3E2ZVBKK8B3&coliid=I3CQZCCSUUXD8B&condition=all(), three, and four. Any/all of them would be much appreciated!
W3Schools is a fantastic resource for coding the actual site.
We used this book in my Website design & Development class (Computer Science major) in Univeristy. Quite good for the money.
This Book
It's written by a Nobel Economist and has been on the buzz on many radio stations. As a potential Econ major, I would love to read this as soon as possible to talk about it with others. One of my econ professors asked if I had read this when we were talking, but I didn't and that was the end of the convo. Likewise, I was having an interview, and the guy asked me if I had read it, when I said I was interested in Econ, and again the convo ended there.
I'm trying to borrow, but the library's copy is on a waitlist system... and I have been number 50 something... for the past 2 months...

I also have a brand new copy of the hobbit i would be willing to send off.. PM me.
As someone who grew up reading the lord of the rings numerous times and fell in love with the world tolkien so masterfully crafted I almost feel indebted to share that experience with anyone who seeks. Like yourself, I don't have a lot of disposable income but for this I think I can pack my lunches for the week ;)
Count me in!
I have been wanting this book for some time. I am about to be a nationally published choral composer and will be giving a concert of all of my choral compositions in May. This book would really help me whip my choir into shape!
Thank you for giving to the community once again!!!
Don’t really want to ask for much but just a single book recently been going through a rough patch (loosing my job and girlfriend) so just trying to figure stuff out.

I've heard very good things about this book and I've been DYING to read it. But, I'm pretty much banned from the local library and I'm living from paycheque to paycheque, so I can't even buy ANY luxuries let alone a book.

Picked up reading in the process of getting through a shitty situation. It's helped me a ton.
