Rabbit vibrators are, in my opinion, not a great place to start when it comes to getting your first toys, as they are very easily hit or miss based solely on whether it fits with your anatomy. Depending on things as simple as your height, weight, or just general proportions (like how far apart your clit and vaginal opening are) a rabbit or similar dual-stim toy could very easily not work for you at all because it just won't line up right. They very much are not "one-size-fits-all," so relying on one as your first toy may not be the safest move.

I feel that you'd be a lot better off trying to find two toys that do one thing really well instead of one toy that does multiple things kind of meh. Or in this case, two things that do something kind of "meh," because while that egg might do the job well enough, I feel like the fact that it's so cheap, is not waterproof at all, and runs on batteries will mean that it won't last very long at all, or will just be kind of frustrating to use after a while, especially if you get another much higher quality toy to compare it to at the same time. I could be wrong, and the egg could be the most perfect toy ever, but being so far on the "low-end" of toys I feel could be a disappointment. I made the same mistake when I bought the Vibratex Water Dancer at the same time as my Wahl, because even though the Water Dancer is a fine enough toy on it's own, the Wahl just so completely overshadowed it that I never am inclined to use the Water Dancer at all.

So with that being said, it would be useful to have a better idea of what specifically you are wanting in a toy and what you want it to do. Are you hoping for a really powerful vibrator for clitoral stimulation? Or is having something insertable more important to you? Do you know how important g-spot stimulation is to you, or have you never experienced it before at all? Do you prefer a softer or harder material, either for internal or external stimulation (for instance, I prefer something softer on my clit, but my favorite internal material is glass)? In order to make some recommendations specific to you and your preferences, it would be helpful to know what kind of stimulation you are looking for or interested in. And, since you say you don't want to drop "a lot" of money on these toys, it would be helpful to know what your price range is. The two you posted would amount to about $90, which is a decent price range to work with, but knowing whether you'd be willing to go up to say $100 or $130 would be really helpful, in case we determine the Lelo Mona 2 would just be perfect for you.

TLDR; I don't recommend a rabbit/dual-stim vibrator to start with, so can you give some more specific information about what kind of stimulation you would like (ie, g-spot, strong clitoral vibrations, textured penetration, etc).

>What kind of butt plug would you recommend ? Is there a particular really small size which is best for newbies like me ?

glass is fantastic; I started with this one, it's pretty small so you shouldn't have a problem

and with glass you can use any lube you want

>Edit: also do you have any tips? Eg how long to use a size before using a bigger size, how do I know when I’m ready for anal sex etc.

you can go up in size any time you want, it's just a matter of being relaxed enough, lubed enough, and going slow....don't just stick it in and forget it, play with it (push it out, pull it out, push it back in)

it's great if you get one with a longer shaft so you can use just your muscles to move it in and out while wearing it

once you can comfortably fit 3 fingers in, you should be okay to start working on a penis or dildo...not trying to shove it in the first time, or anytime you feel pain, is important

Not a new toy, but for your Hitachi - get an inline lamp dimmer, like this. Now she can make it as soft or powerful as she likes. Hope it helps!

I got this one, have only used it once but it has great reviews. I'm inexperienced in using cock rings.

Tantus Super Soft C Ring, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007CE5W5K/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_jpx6wb7RFP49F

Curious what she got you that helped?

If you are not looking to spend a lot, the Get A Grip is my recomendation for new users. You can use it both with and without batteries. Be sure to try it handle up and handle back, I found it easiest to use hands free handle toward my spine, also lying on my back, rotating my hips so the handle hitting the bed pushed the toy into my prostate.

If you want to spend more, the Njoy Pure Wand is the defacto standard for easily finding and stimulating your prostate. Most use the small end inserted, just be careful not to go to far in. Also take care not to bruise your prostate with the unforgiving metal by being overly vigorous.

Um... only place I can say would have 2 day shipping for sure would be Amazon but you are going to take a risk of not getting the exact product because there is a small possibility that they sell you a knock off, Amazon has done this in the past. You can get it with prime pretty sure too but again, you take a risk.

If you are willing to take said risk, are accepting that said risk is worth it, well here is a link to the Amazon page with it and it's with Amazon Prime too.

All that said, I did buy this one from Amazon personally after buying one from a local shop. I needed a second one for a partner. Both are the same, so I got a legit one.

Don't know if you made any decisions but a Bootie might work for you. I like Icicle's g11 for and the njoy 2.0 for extended wear personally. The Njoy's head is pretty big but the neck on both are narrow (they are really more for prostate stimulation rather than helping you to stretch those sphincters).

the vibratex mini magic wand is $35 and it's fairly strong. it wasn't strong enough for me but i need a lotttt of power. i have a review of it here.

the wahl massager is also a great choice. it's corded which can be annoying sometimes but it's only $15 and really strong!

I have these cock rings. They are flat, silicone, and the largest one is big enough to stretch around behind the scrotum. I use the medium sized one to pull the ball sack tight (I place it around the scrotum, just above the testicles). The smallest one I install at the base of penis. You can use as many or as few as you want. I like that they are flat because they don't get caught in hair and won't roll.

As to prostate stimulation I have this cheap glass rod that is really small in diameter and you can poke and prod the prostate easily with it, if you know where it is. Another good toy for beginners is this vibrator by Evolved. It has decent vibrations and is small diameter. Stays in place. Hard plastic covered in a silky silicone-feel material. It says waterproof, but I would not submerge that battery box, which feels cheap/loose. Have fun exploring, you guys!

This might open up a world of opportunities for you. I Use this on a tantus general to a shower wall. It's pretty good.

Saw something online, (Can't for the life of me find it right now, of course) where a person made their own strap on harness out of Nylon straps and buckles. Essentially, they made one of THESE.

They used one of THESE for the ring, and THESE instead of the snaps and some nylon strapping like THIS for the actual harness. They put THESE in the back to get it off and on. Basically the end user decides if it's a thong type, or a jock strap style and attaches one or two straps through the legs. Hope that helps.

I cut the cord and installed an inline dimmer (https://i.imgur.com/XoHxpll.jpg), makes for fewer cords and keeps the control closer to the wand, even when you use an extension cord to add length. I picked mine up on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Lutron-LC-300H-WH-Attache-On-Cord-Dimmer/dp/B0000BYEF9) but it looks like they are no longer available there.

We have had no issues with this setup and it's been about 4 years now. She loves the extra control it gives her, previously there was just the 2 speeds to choose from; "holy cow", and "way too much". I know newer models have better options but this was a cheap upgrade for us.

The Share doesn't harness well because it sits so low, exactly like you described. I personally would skip the Share or the Feeldoe, and just get a regular dildo that's in his preferred size and spend the extra, if there is any, on an Aslan harness (they're worth the money). But if you already have the double-sided stupidity and need something to stabilize it, try this Sportsheet harness (you might need to order O rings in a larger circumference, too...just make sure they're still thin enough that the snaps of the harness can close around them)

my wife (g spot) and i (p spot) have tried these 2 and neither came close to the effectiveness of the pure wand. they were slightly shorter and definitely lighter than the PW.

You could use flat nylon webbing, two straps, and use a snap kit to add snaps to the ends. Then make an X, stitch them together at the center, and snap them around a steel or rubber o-ring of your choice, to hold the dildo. You could add strap buckles to make yoga ball size and position adjustable.

For reference, my girlfriend and I have one of these that is constructed similarly: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000AOOBPG/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_b.ubub066WNTF

This. Also, try adding an inside-out Tenga egg to give the HMW a degree of softness/squishiness.

u/throwawayassplayyay · 1 pointr/SexToys

Yea those are all way too small and the constriction would be excessive.

The 0.79" diameter one would need to stretch 101.2658%.

The 0.87" diameter one would need to stretch 82.7586%.

The 1.10" diameter one would need to stretch 44.5454%.

The smallest you're probably going to want is going to be a diameter of 1.325" which would be a 20% stretch. Full disclaimer, I don't think anyone has sat down and figured out the amount of stretch a cock ring should have but anything above 20% is most likely going to hurt, be difficult to put on, and cause issues.

A 1.3826" diameter is going to be a 15% stretch.

A 1.44545" diameter is going to have a 10% stretch.

A 1.51428" diameter is going to have a stretch of 5% so, I wouldn't go any larger than that. e.g. The Tantus Super Soft C-Ring. Please be aware that I am only using an Amazon link because the one provided is from Tantus's official storefront there so they will be legitimate.

Keep in mind that you won't find anything with those exact measurements so the actual stretch of what you wind up with will be higher or lower but, those measurements should point you in the right direction.

There's a trick you can use to get it to growl more and buzz less: you get a dimmer plug (like this) and use it to lower the voltage (and so the RPM) of your newer Hitachi. Bear in mind that the motor is not meant to do this, and it will likely shorten the service life of the appliance.

HV-250Rs go for three times the price of HV-260s on Amazon; unless money is no object, avoid spending the premium.
