Mushroom Ketchup is one of the original sauces: much earlier than tomato sauce. You can buy it in stores, but I make my own now.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29u_FejNuks is a great video how-to.
If you don't have time, then grab it off Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Geo-Watkins-Mushroom-Ketchup-190ml/dp/B0051C0KGQ
The price is higher is an understatement, at least if you're referring to the $40 sale.
Though even just checking more official looking sources
Sentai has it at $130 https://shop.sentaifilmworks.com/products/food-wars-premium-box-set
And Amazon right now has it at $93

Anyways the Season 1 box is pretty cool, especially the artbook.
authentic mexican cuisine uses coco mixed with spices in many of its dishes. it has been a staple since the Aztecs before the spanairds came to the new world. they used coco for savory applications. not sweet. it is a style that has lasted to this day. try buying mexican chocolate, its spicy and semi sweet

here are a few examples of recipes it is used for: http://communitytable.parade.com/168783/yvettemarquez/11-seductive-mexican-chocolate-recipes/
and here is the most famous application today Molé sauce:http://allrecipes.com/video/800/authentic-mole-sauce/
Also it does not have to be Mexican food if chocolate is involved. I was saying that if they got into a battle with Momo and they've made the theme just simply "chocolate", then they could look to Mexican or Indian cuisine which both use chocolate in the savory way. That way they don't have to try to beat her skill at desert making. But they could still win.

And this is a good primer for traditional French techniques, which most kitchens use extensively

If you go through these four books, then you'll be pretty set in basic knowledge.
I mean, it's a real Korean snack, and squid and peanuts is a appetizer for drinking. I wonder if the readers of that Korean scanlation are like, what's the big deal here? We have that flavor at the local grocery store.
I have this in black. It does work well as it's basically a thermos. The key is to put the bowls in the correct order so they benefit most and it's properly sealed. But, you can't mix and match hot and cold foods. You either have the main bowls with cold foods or with hot foods and the side bowls at room temperature.
So, if you've made something that will keep in a thermos, it will work.
