We detailed this on our site in the physical release article, but: We're focusing on the games themselves for the physical release of Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove. The box includes the game on a disc (or card for the Switch).
That said, its helpful to know you'd be interested in a release like that!
We created a manual for the original Shovel Knight release! Which was great! But it would be difficult to capture the same amount of gameplay and character detail from the point of view of 5 different games in such a small number of pages (and duplicated to include additional languages). The same goes for choosing tracks on a soundtrack CD!
Since the original release, we also have more options for physical Shovel Knight items, for anyone looking to place something on a shelf or in a collection. The Shovel Knight amiibo, artbook from Udon Entertainment, and the OST releases from Brave Wave, and so on.
If you play/emulate a lot on PC, I'd really reccomend a Buffalo SNES USB gamepad.
Most Nintendo-recreated controllers are average to crappy, but this one holds up incredibly well and has great durability and reviews. I love it better than even the Wii/Wii U controllers because of the larger D-Pad size and grooves in the D-Pad, which keep my thumbs from sliding off like they do on the smaller D-Pads Nintendo's put out lately.
Holy shit, they fucking released an Android port?
Looks like it's available only through Amazon (made for Fire TV with a game pad). The product page says it's Treasure Trove, and the description includes all 3 campaigns so I'd say yes it does.

The reason why amiibo have become significantly more commonplace now is because Nintendo ramped up production on them to meet demand. I know Shovel Knight isn't going to be anywhere near as popular as some of Nintendo's franchises, but even Yacht Club Games had to have known that having only around a dozen of these things available per store wasn't going to be enough. It's not like these guys haven't made merch of their game or anything before.
Oh, and pre-orders for the amiibo went up on Amazon last night. As of this writing, they're listed as Currently Unavailable.
One of these should work to attach the NES Mini controller to PC.
Or, if you want a wireless option, try one of these.
