Go for it man but be sure you've got some top quality gloves. My S&TA recommended these and they're pretty warm and durable.

Personally I am taking the winter season to pick up extra hours engineering, tutoring, delivery driving, and whatever else I can make a few bucks doing so I can have a solid bank account for skydiving, wingsuiting, and paramotoring.

Interesting, I might have to read just because of that, also off topic have you read Lone survivor or Lions of Kandahar?...Both great books.

Ah yes, you want "action shants", as I call them. Man capris. I... have a few pairs.

I have these, and I like them: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005J5BAP0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

saw this, it looked interesting, but haven't tried them.

Here's a super cheap pair of goggles. They're what I use and I've seen others at the dz wearing them. Edit: FYI I like them. They're comfortable, dont fog up, and I've never once had to think about my goggles while jumping. You put them on and forget about them.

If all else fails get a helmet, but I wouldnt recommend that until your A license.

Probably a helmet extension mount, something like this? Maybe.

Above 10F is jumpable imo, but it's the wind that will kill you. I couldn't recommend more these gloves for winter jumps.
