Heavy duty landscape fabric on the bottom of the box? Overall that sounds like a totally not-fun situation. I never thought I'd be thankful for the morning glory I have to contend with... : )
I wish they were better quality but I shouldn't complain as this plus a motion sensing sound/light machine means I hardly need a fence at all in an area where other gardeners need serious 6ft+ fencing. It deters everything: dogs, cats, deer, rabbits, squirrels (though I'm sure the smart ones could eventually figure it out).
