11 of these 24mm buttons (You can get any color, the buttons just need to be 24mm)

One 30mm button

PS3+PC PCB (You can pick a different PCB, but this is one of the cheapest. I use this one for my personal build)

Finally, you'll need a case.
This website by far has the best custom cases you can buy. They're upwards of $70, but look great. This is what mine looks like. Just make sure that if you order from here, you get the hitbox button layout top.

Your other options for a case are to buy a different custom one online, or to make your own. I did the latter first. As long as you have the tools, it's really cheap and can be a fun process. This is the video I followed for doing this.

Gotta look at it in a business sense. So the companies of course will make products for the bigger market so it will sell easier, which someone mentioned Sony have more fighting games than M$ does. That said, having those sticks exclusive doesn't mean much considering not everyone are fans of those designs. And if you are a tourney traveler and you also play on many systems, it may be in your best interest to put a Brooks all-in-one board.

The HORI RAP N is actually offered for the Xbone. It is just sold as a theme for T7. Razer may have given Sony the Panthera but Xbox always had the trusty Atrox.

You should have been around during the PS3/X360 days. Situation was hella reversed. Many of the FGs ran better on the X360 so they ran tourneys on them. Meaning you needed your sticks to be compatible for that. Or in some cases people just used a Brooks board anyway.

Well, I've been playing with Mechanical KB ROCCAT RYOS MK for a couple of years and quite happy with it.

Just these 2 videos can convince you not to buy a stick: first and second

I'm on PC as well and have started using my keyboard with Tekken 6 on the PPSSPP and I'll probably continue playing like this in T7 as well, I like it. I'm using this keyboard and while I'm no expert, it's been doing quite well for me.

Where'd you get the mask from? I also have a T2 King cosplay in my closet but I wasn't happy with the mask I got off of amazon. Since I wear glasses I don't want the headpiece to fit super tight.

[edit] also grats on getting tweeted by Harada!

Buying a cheap stick is not always a bad idea. Usually what sucks about cheap sticks is the actual buttons and joystick parts - these are fairly easily replaceable with high quality parts. You used to be able to buy buttons from lizardlick.com but apparently they've gone out of business so you'd need to use something like Focus Attack.

So you can buy a cheap stick, order some Sanwa or Seimitsu buttons and joystick, and spend less for basically the same quality stick as the high end ones. It does take the effort of ordering and changing out the parts though (really not too hard) so the savings will have to justify the effort for you. It does let you customize your stick more though, and it will give you some experience if you want to mess with the stick in the future to deck it out or change out parts.

You can also dual mod them yourself or pay people to. Haven't looked into this so not sure if it would be cheaper to get a cheap stick + high quality parts + dual mod than just buying an already dual modded high end stick.

For example, my friend did all of this with this stick as a start. And yet he still hasn't changed the panel art...

I think it's comfortable and the extra two face buttons definitely come in handy. Keep in mind I haven't really used the DS4 much so I can't compare. The buttons are ok and their large size is very nice. They feel good to mash. The shoulder buttons feel pretty loose though and I hit L2 and R2 accidentally so much that I had to unbind them (probably because of my grip). I think it's a good pad, but I'm really not a fan of the d-pad, which is why I'm looking forward to the PowerA Fusion.

I did basically the same thing except with a bamboo tea box from amazon

It is a little bit smaller but I can fit my palms on it for when I want to rest, which is all I really need the size for:

Camelbak is where it's at, not the backpack one but the regular 1L bottle.

You don't have to fuck around with a cap every time you wanna drink, just quickly grab it and take a swig through the straw. Plus they're fucking indestructible.

Maybe this, Hori Arcade Pro Kai

albeit, you are still looking at ~2 months handicap vs pad, unless you are already comfortable using a stick.

You need a Bluetooth adapter like this one if you don't already have one.

If you already have one and cant get it to pair, try pairing in the Bluetooth devices menu (windows 10) and see if big picture mode or DS4 tool can recognize it (but don't use both at the same time).
