Create a playlist of music homework to listen to ahead of time. Do a trial of Spotify premium and see where the music takes you. I always love a good Grateful Dead live listening session (Cornell '77 is a great all-around album. Veneta, OR '72 gets more weird and experimental if that is your jam). If the Dead don't do it for you, there lots of other playlists on Spotify to explore. Listen to the 2001: Space Odyssey soundtrack. Or Wagner. Or the Beatles. Tame Impala, Khruangbin, Electric Octopus. Revisit songs you love or explore new things.

-Lastly - go for that walk. Bring a thermos of tea and enjoy a breath of fresh, frigid air before heading back into the warm, cozy, cave you have waiting for you. Have fun!
I don't think anyone objects--I see nothing in the group guidelines that limits posts to psychedelic related trips.
Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with the drugs you're on right now. However, I can suggest two books that have been helpful to me when I've been feeling down:
A Guide to the Good Life: The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy, by William B. Irvine.
Don't Sweat The Small Stuff by Richard Carlson.
I might also suggest going for a walk. It may help keep you from ruminating, clear your mind, and make you feel better. (Though it might delay sleep for a bit.)
4g should have had you tripping pretty fucking hard for a first go. Even if you buy like once a year it's worth it dude. Here's the one I bought: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0012LOQUQ/ref=sr_ph?ie=UTF8&qid=1426563299&sr=1&keywords=digital+scale
It's $10 with prime shipping and once you have it you can reliably weigh anything (not just drugs, but yes mostly drugs) up to 100g with a 0.01 g accuracy. It's worth it.

I would recommend that you get a copy of this book and use it to prepare yourself. It's written by a psychedelic researcher from the Sixties who carried on his work even after it was banned by the federal government. It's filled with lots of great information about how to make the most positive and productive use of psychedelic drugs.
And perhaps a mg scale would be helpful for taking an accurate doses http://www.amazon.co.uk/American-Weigh-GEMINI-20-Portable-MilliGram/dp/B0012TDNAM is a good scale.
