Most of my professors so far only allow Calculators that are allowed on the FE. as /u/DrJamaican mentioned, get a good calculator that is allowed on the FE and learn how to use that as you would breathe. I usually recommend the Casio FX991EX, it does spreadsheets and 4X4 matrices and the display and overall functionality is amazing compared to it's only real competitor the TI-36x Pro. The only thing the TI does better is keep memory of operations between power cycles. If you are gonna graph any for a class it is gonna be using MATlab or some other software package. So save yourself the money on a graphing calc and buy two great scientific calculators (always need a backup).
Ooo Nice. You didn't happen to live in the ELLC last year did you?
LC as in liquid chromatography? I took organic chemistry 1 + lab during summer A and I did numerous types of chromatography. I would say for this either TLC or GC might be better for this (I found liquid chromatography to be inaccurate and annoying). Gas chromatography was very accurate and in your case would be practical because simple alcohols have relatively low boiling points. If you can get in contact with a chemist especially an organic chemist (they deal with a lot of Chromo) then you will be in luck. There are a lot of chromatography labs on the 2nd floor of NES, you may be able to find someone there. There are also a lot of friendly orgo TA's that may be able to help you.
Also if you're looking to purify your alcohol a great investment would be a distiller that I have come across. I really want to buy one haha. They are not cheap though.

Hey there, im not really sure about the motherboard, but i looked at your parts list and i would definitely recommend a different monitor. With spending around 200$ you should look for a 144hz monitor that supports freesync, since nvidia graphics cards can now be enabled with freesync monitors. Id recommend something like this which is popular for around that price https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYHZ6R6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_DJeRDbD6B9AFT
took pchem else where but honestly it's a different beast.
I loved it but if you're not proficient in calc try to take a biophysical chem class instead or else it's going to be miserable.
I've been told we use McQurrie's (which is good because it's the best Pchem textbook) here. so if you take it Buy McQurrie's answer manual it's expensive for a non-required book but it'll be worth it.
There should be a rule against off campus housing using misleading names like that.

I have this WiFi card and it's really good. A little more pricey than most but definitely way more reliable and well made. I've seen it do a gig up and down on 5GHz and you probably won't have to replace it years.

Just for general use, /u/azntrojan : have you thought about getting an external USB disc drive? Could be had for as little as $16, but the marginal additional costs now mean that if you desperately needed to restore your Mac and reinstall Windows, you could do it immediately.
