I consider this title VHS ONLY as the DVD is OOP and $$$
This is not an elegant solution, but you can check completed ebay auctions to find out titles you might not have heard of before.
Sort sold auctions (not completed) by price, first from high to low for highly sought rarities then from low to high for more common VHS only titles.
Be sure to set a minimum value when searching. I often choose 9.99 to help sort out junk, but you will often find out what works best for you.
I often make sure the search DOES NOT include wrestling (wwe, wwf, et cetera), disney and exercise/aerobics. You will find out works best for you.
Amazon also has many, many VHS titles listed and you just need to use their search function.
I don’t know of any checklist, but a good resource might be a vintage copy of Leonard Maltin’s Movie Guide. It’s like an encyclopedia of movies with a short description and home video release info. Here’s a link to 1998: https://www.amazon.com/Leonard-Maltins-Movie-Video-Signet/dp/0451192885/ it’s pretty late era VHS so it should have most titles
Okay. So I might have solved the Safari one but I need to see footage to confirm. If anyone in this group has this and can share footage that would be great. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.amazon.com/Silly-Safari-Seven-Days-Africa-VHS/dp/6304675674&ved=2ahUKEwjpn8qjo5nlAhUiMX0KHbidDTkQFjAAegQIAxAB&usg=AOvVaw2EtTSfx7lOCm4RlWyYMjdD
Those are RCA sockets at the bottom. Does your TV have similar RCA inputs for video and audio? If so you can use a cable like this to connect the two. Just plug the white plug into the video out and red into audio out on the VHS at one end, and at the other end, white into video and red into audio in on the TV.

If your tv only has HDMI you can get a RCA to HDMI like this.
https://www.amazon.com/HDMI-Cable-Composite-Adapter-3-RCA/dp/B07VRDQXNS/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=2+rca+to+hdmi+cable&qid=1566622021&s=gateway&sprefix=2+rca+to+hdmi+cable&sr=8-3
And a RCA splitter like this
https://www.amazon.com/Hosyl-Splitter-Adapter-Female-Convert/dp/B01EHJ7AUW/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?keywords=2+rca+to+1+rca&qid=1566622256&s=gateway&sprefix=2+rca+&sr=8-7
Your VHS only has single channel audio, so you need to plug the red and white plugs into the splitter, then the splitter into audio out. Then plug the yellow into video out and the HDMI into your tv.
Looks like $12 is the cheapest fulfilled by amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/ol/B00006C7G9/ref=mw_dp_olp?ie=UTF8&condition=all
Is this what you're referring to?
https://www.amazon.com/Recoton-V144-VHS-Cleaner-Discontinued/dp/B00006JQ3X/ref=sr_1_22?ie=UTF8&qid=1506381341&sr=8-22&keywords=vhs+head+cleaner
Thank you so much for your help.
Edit: follow up question, should i get a dry or wet type?
As mentioned in the thriftstore hauls thread, OP might be embelishing the truth about it's value abit.
Amazon
eBay
Found a listing on Amazon with identical sleeve art. Looks like it came out in '98, which means the "Limited Edition" is almost entirely meaningless. By then DVD was starting to gain traction and they were probably trying to pull a last ditch push of T2 on VHS before DVD became the primary way people bought home video.
T2 had also already had it's first DVD release by this point, so I bet they marketed this VHS release as being digitally remastered to get people to buy a higher quality version of the movie than had previously been released on VHS.
Again, all conjecture, just based on my experience as someone who bought lots of VHS in the late 90s.
Troma distributed this movie on DVD. -- https://www.amazon.com/Twisted-Justice-TROMA-ENTERTAINMENT-INC/dp/B00UGPMOBC
However, the movie had some weird legal status, so other companies also distributed the movie. I have this specific release in my collection -- https://www.amazon.com/Twisted-Justice-Julie-Austin-II/dp/6305947856
The Troma version is the better one because of the extras.
> Computer Beach Party
At least it's relatively cheap on Amazon
Interesting. Only one copy was on Ebay in the past couple months and it sold for the starting price of $24. There are some pricey copies on Amazon, but who knows if they are actually selling.

This one sticks out in my mind
https://www.amazon.com/Dentist-Brace-Yourself-VHS/dp/6305316880
its called "Tekunoporisu Nijūisseki" , the vhs release is dubbed and edited. For what its worth OP has the 1st release, the 2nd release is this ( https://www.amazon.com/Techno-Police-21c-Takeshi-Aono/dp/6303388019 ) which is no different. They were just cashing in on the rise of anime in the 90s

I have one of these Kinyos and used one till the cursed star trek tape killed it. But you should be able to find them 10-20 usd used or at a thrift store. And they were common enough to have manuals online .
