Hi all, I thought this Kindle ebook on Ragnar Lothbrok might be interesting to members of the community, it's free to download until April 8th.

If you enjoy it, an honest review on Amazon would be appreciated. But if you have any criticism, I would prefer you let me know via PM or leave a message here instead of leaving a negative review, so I can get it corrected right away for future readers.

Thanks!

Really recommend this one: https://www.amazon.com/Ivory-Vikings-Mystery-Famous-Chessmen/dp/1250108594

Great look into the Viking world, how expansive it was, and what the society was capable of, all through the lens of a few sets of ivory chess pieces.

Ibn Fadlan and the Land of Darkness is something you should look in to, it deals with Fadlan's accounts of the Volga Vikings among other observations. As for people who were raided not many spring to mind aside from historical accounts after said raids(Such as the Frankish Annals.) The problem with these is they aren't always accurate and are usually biased but that doesn't mean there isn't some truth to them! Sorry I couldn't turn up more but best of luck finding what you're after.

There's a fantastic axe by cold steel that's relatively cheap on amazon that I love. When you get it it takes a lil reinforcing to keep the head from wiggling but is well worth the price. I had planned on customizing mine anyway so wrapping the head with some leather cordage did the trick for me. Here's a link

It can't be done, unfortunately. You'll always have to choose a compilation with some sort of selection of what is accessible in translation.

Penguin's Sagas of the Icelanders has a decent enough selection for a rather lower price than you were quoting.
