By the way, you might find this book useful: https://www.amazon.com/Pad-Guide-Ultra-Living-Matt-Maranian/dp/0811826538

I'm not sure what part of the world you're in, but you're more likely to find kindred spirits in a big city, especially Southern California. Maybe spend some time hanging around your local antique shops--get to know the owners and the regular customers, and you may find others like you that way. Good luck!

I haven’t tried yet, myself. I’m going to get some of these , I think. Also, as I understand it, you want to go slow & frequently cool things down with water. Good luck!

I wholeheartedly agree.

Did some research!

The photographs were exhibited at the Historic Houses Trust, and taken down on Sunday 11 February, 2007. A 239 page book was later formed called the City of Shadows: Sydney Police Photographs 1912-1948, though a little out of my price range. Fortunately there are tons more mugshots floating around for those interested.

Cheers.

Here is the reference for the original cartridge. If you were going to replace the turntable with a modern unit, you would need a preamplifier, like this. Your old Tele-funky has a "crystal" cartridge, and modern turntables use a "magnetic" cartridge which has a weaker output. The preamp will go between the new turntable and the Telefunken. You will also need a "DIN to RCA" converter cable, like this one.

There is most likely a bad/lose connection inside of the inline switch.

If it were me I would rewire it and change out the socket with one of these pull chain sockets, https://ibb.co/cb0wxY1 which would make it a lot easier to turn it on and off. If the chain isn't long enough you can add one of these decorative chain extenders https://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-Home-Improvement-Ceiling-Fan-Pull-Chain-Ornaments/zgbs/hi/5486427011 All should be available at your local hardware store.

Else you could rewire it with one of these foot switches https://www.amazon.com/Pedal-Switch-Inline-Control-Footswitch/dp/B01GY2MKFK

That camera doesn't have a frog tongue, a frog tongue is a little thing you install onto the camera so that when the film spits out it is still in total darkness until it has fully developed, like these:
