With 4k HDMI, swapping cables to one known to work, like 'certified' cables, is always the first step in troubleshooting. Many cables make bogus claims and do not work correctly.

It's called a home theater display for a reason its meant for movie streaming and blu-rays. But here's an easy fix!

Amazon says buy this. I don't think the tuner itself matters much so long as it has a hookup that's capable of delivering the needed resolution. Just make sure to get an antenna if you don't have one.
