Does anybody else think this is maybe a 'fart machine' like this: Fart Machine

While inappropriate (although funny IMO) I could see them pranking her. Especially the way one or two of them can't stop laughing. It sounds like someone actually started to snicker right before the second fart - kinda like it was all planned.

Still funny either way, because air escaping from your butthole = funny.

Aren't these telescoping ladders? I definitely would never trust one of them, but the ladder in the .gif was a pretty standard extension ladder. I see them all the time and never saw them fail on their own.

But then, I've never seen someone stupid enough to try something like putting the bottom of a ladder on anything but solid ground in person either.

>I do a bench press from the floor

Sounds like you're not getting full range of motion, not to mention missing out on fly's and incline/decline presses. I'd recommend getting an adjustable bench like this. Of course, if you're happy with the situation then that's cool.

Oh goody! I get to corrupt another Discworld reader!

It's from the book Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett. It's quite good. And funny. You should read it.

The Amazon page lets you preview the first chapter. If that doesn't convince you to buy it, I don't know what will. The rest of the Discworld series is similarly good.

Its a kids roller coaster similar to this , except it looks like he took the last section of it off before propping it up on the chair. It didnt really break, but came apart at the point where 2 the top and middle section come together. Its made of hollow plastic like the playschool slides and outdoor playsets.

Just in case if it's a Meniere's disease, there is a good book on topic "Mind over Meniere's". Very useful stuff.

Ice scrapershave a brush on one end to brush the snow off your car and (surprise) a wedge on the other end to scrape the ice off your windows. There's absolutely NO reason to just bang on the ice like a moron.

His ice scraper isn't the same as the one I linked but you can clearly see there is a wedge for scraping ice on it by the grip.

By the way, there really is such a thing as headlight/blinker light fluid. It's more like a thin paste, it's conductive, and it's oil based so it keeps the contacts from corroding if they get exposed to Amy moisture.

And no, I'm not shitting you.

If you're asking that kind of question you're too stupid to understand the answer but if you wanna try to understand, read these books

Glad someone said this! I read proficient motorcycling when I started riding, and these stats really stuck out to me. Another thing was how there is a steady drop-off in accidents as a rider becomes more experienced with time, and then there is a sharp rise around the 2-year mark. Essentially, riders become complacent.

Also, in said multi-vehicle accidents, most of the time it's a car turning across an intersection that doesn't notice the bike coming.

Ride safe!

Edit: Also, I can't believe someone downvoted you :/

DO NOT DO THIS. WORST ADVICE EVER.

A number of years back I took a spicy food challenge. I had worked up to this for a long time (habaneros for breakfast, putting ghost pepper extract in pretty much everything I ate, etc.), but they deliberately withheld the fact that the food was made using trinidad scorpion until I've been shoveling it into my face for a while. Keep in mind, this was my first experience with the stuff.

Get back to work (this was during the lunch hour), and the boss kindly suggests we all go get ice cream to salve my aching gut. Well, a couple of scoops of vanilla later, and the only difference from before is I can now sense ice cream resting on top of a volcano of pain.

(despite what some may believe, the stomach does indeed sense capsaicin; the sensation is that of somebody reaching into your gut with pliers, grabbing some flesh, and twisting it really hard)

Several hours later, on my car ride home, I felt it. That impending sense of doom that suggested being in a rocketing vehicle was not the right move on my part. Hastily I pull over and start wretching, and do you know what came up? ICE CREAM. Not the stuff that was causing me agony, but frothy white vanilla. It was holding the spicy food down and keeping it from coming back up, and only made the process of regurgitation that much longer and painful (and yes, it does burn coming back up too).

I knew it was a Beatles song, I just didn't know it caused friction. i just finished reading John Lennon: The Life which is brilliant, and that song was mentioned (that john didn't like it), but it was more that everything was strained at that point. I don't know anything about that song, in particular, causing issues.

EDIT: I just googled it and it's reminding me, and you're right. It was Paul recording it on his own, and John felt hurt that he wouldn't include the whole band for it.

I don't know what state this video took place but as a gun owner it is the responsibility of the gun owner to know gun laws for whatever state they carry them. When I bought my first gun I also bought a book like: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1889632295/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awdb_ncxbzbNAHES06

In this book it is very clear that you cannot carry a gun in a threatening manner or in a manner that can be perceived as threatening. The guy in the video is wearing a mask in body armor while brandishing a rifle and walking into a police station. I would almost guarantee that everyone there felt threatened. I don't carry my firearms across state lines so I don't read up on other state's laws but if I did I'm getting a book for that state and studying before I go. I would guess that any state with open carry laws are going to have a similar law dealing with brandishing and threat perception.

Had he walked in there in plain clothes with a holstered sidearm with his hands no where near it, he probably would have been fine. At most he may be asked to take it to his car and come back.

These books aren't terribly expensive. I'd recommend getting one for your state just so you are aware even if you don't plan on owning a gun.
