It’s an amino acid, it helps with relaxation and stress relief. A holistic approach, since my dr didn’t want to prescribe me anxiety meds. These are the ones I bought:

Theres also a whole website dedicated to alternatives called dominatedepression.com I found that be quite useful too.
Wellbutrin is usually only for nicotine. It doesn't really work on cravings, it just reduces withdrawal symptoms and works on norepinephrine to reduce the pleasure derived from smoking. For cannabis and other drug cravings, NAC (N-acetylcysteine) can be very effective. It's been shown to considerably reduce cannabis, cocaine and methamphetamine cravings. It's being studied for OCD because it reduces all kinds of compulsive behaviors. Lamictal and naltrexone have also been shown to reduce substance cravings.
This is an excellent product. The deluxe is better than the ultra version.

I hear you. Therapy can be prohibitively expensive! I was told she used mainly ACT with a bit of DBT thrown in. The workbooks she "prescribed" were this and this . I actually have found the DBT book more helpful. It has a lot of great coping ideas for when you're in panic mode.

I'm in a similar situation, I'm taking a dose of 15mg, my doctor forgot renewing my 5mg prescription so I have to split the 10mgs for a while.
there is something called a "pill cutter", I think it could be worth checking your local pharmacy if they sell one, otherwise you can split the pills with a sharp knife (which is what I will be doing for the next couple days).
if my geometry skills arent completely garbage, try cutting along the line of the the letter "T" on the pill (I made this image)
I tried cutting exactly between the letters "T" and "L", and the left part came out as bigger.
Yep, I take one a day, but if I miss a day or 2, it's not a big deal, the ibs issues don't come back or anything. It's a capsule, I just take it with water in the evening. I buy mine on Amazon
Edit to add: no, I've not tried any other probiotics.
