Window cleaner
Household Bleach
Make sure the room is sealed tightly, mix the window cleaner and bleach together in the humidifier, turn on. At first it may cause some discomfort, but with the use of alcohol ( I would recommend cooking sherry personally, as it is most cost effective) you can put yourself to sleep with total ease. Cooking sherry, combined with this neat little trick should do a fairly good job at making sure you don't wake up anymore.
As a power top, your friend is used to "giving" the "presents". You, on the other hand, are not. Maybe you just need practice.
