Just to be sure we are talking about the same sticks, here are the good value sticks that are out of stock but at a great price. I risked buying them to see what happens, I'm hoping they will restock in the next 3 weeks max.
And here is the RAM I bought that is in stock. BIG price difference, and I know these are the better RAM but I will definitely be returning them if the others come though.
Sandisk Ultra II 500GB
It obviously hasn't started but a decent price cut on a 500GB SSD would be pretty nice. Depends on how steep the discount is. Probably worth keeping an eye on if you're looking for that sort of thing.
Corsair Carbide 600C
Again, hasn't started, but a decent deal on a case could be good.
XG2401 on Amazon Warehouse. One of the best 1080p 144Hz monitors.
Can get a Like New one for under £175 with the 20% off deal. Any issues, it's Amazon's amazing return service.
Im looking at pretty much the exact same build. I was just about to get this kit to go with the 2600x. At £117 I feel like its a pretty good deal.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06XRFNWHK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1
I've an 850 Evo 500gb and it's been great so far. I have Windows, my main programs and games on there. However with big games now reaching 50gb+ I'll need another soon.
I got mine from Amazon for around £145 - this SSD is listed twice on Amazon, at slightly different prices, I don't know if one is a retail version or how they've done it, but it's the same SSD, just a little cheaper.
ETA: Here it is. Temp out of stock. It shows £169.58 here, I paid £138.73 in early December. Worth keeping an eye out for.
ETA 2: The regular listing is a tenner off, at £144.27 - still a good buy IMO.
https://uk.camelcamelcamel.com/SanDisk-Ultra-SATA-Internal-Write/product/B01N6Y18ZM
Looks like they put the price up last week to try and trick you by making it look like a better deal. Amazon put their price up from £139.99 to £149.99 on the 3rd, and 3rd party sellers put theirs up from £135.97 to £183.46 on the 6th
Samsung b-die ram is the very best.
But Micron rev e-die is a very close behind in second place. And due to ryzen 3000 not worth going above 3800 mhz due to the FLCK, then micron rev e-die is more than enough.
When purchasing it, make sure it has "AES" in the name, like on this one : https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07MGPH9R9/
-
BLS2K8G4D30AESBK - It means it's guaranteed to be micron rev e die.
It's on the 3000 mhz cl15 and 3200 mhz cl16 - can very easily be overclocked. 3600 cl14 and 3800 mhz cl16 can be done relatively easy.
Just bought a used Acer XG270HU 1440p 144hz for £277. There is another used one still available, slightly more expensive still available for £293 after the discount applied.
NB: If you don't have prime you can sign up for a free 30 day trial. Also if you think the used products might not be worth it, all amazon warehouse deals come with a free 30 day return period.
Updates on deals I found that people might want:
Another monitor i found : Viewsonioc g-sync 1440p 165hz for £389 after discount. New is for £689. Two available
If you cant afford one of the latest cards, or you're on a budget the [Gigabyte NVIDIA GTX 970 G1] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00NQ862GY/ref=dp_olp_0?ie=UTF8&condition=all&qid=1499253163&sr=1-84) is for 172 after discount. Might be worth it considering the GPU shortage because of etherium mining. 7 Available
For colour sensitive professional work : [ViewSonic VP2770-LED 27-inch WQHD IPS Professional Monitor] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00906HNZU/ref=dp_olp_0?ie=UTF8&condition=all&qid=1499253646&sr=1-130) £255 after discount. £439 new, one available.
If you want something less gamer aesthethics that's very similar have a look at

ViewSonic XG2703-GS

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ViewSonic-XG2703-GS-27-inch-DisplayPort-Speakers/dp/B01LWJMM1S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1536568617&sr=8-1&keywords=viewsonic+gsync+1440p

They both have the exact same panel.

Also the Predator isn't as bad as it looks, as I have a friend who has one and when looking from the front it appears ordinary. The Acer one usually goes on sale like this often enough, where personally I don't think the price jump to the ViewSonic is worth it.
'Like New' XG2401 (apparently one of the best 1080p 144hz monitors) for £166 or so after 20% off: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B01A0ZRR50/ref=dp_olp_used_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=used&m=A2OAJ7377F756P. Check specific listings for details on potential issues.
Or for £60 extra the Acer Predator with g-sync. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B01AJTVBQI/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used&m=A2OAJ7377F756P
[The nitro+ is also on sale] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B071Y7CKM2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_J5O7BbR9WEE9T). It's slightly more money but still a great price for that card
The product page has changed from pre order to currently unavailable
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B071CQ5LRV/
My orders page (made in late August) did show the price as £238 when I bought it and now says £102 !!!
Cant see them honoring that but I expect the price at £238 as I agreed. Still no word on stocks though - I suspect the cards will drop to this price naturally by the time they come in. I'll not change/cancel my order anyway and hope for the best
With competing RAMs like Kingston 2400MHz well under £50 for 8GB, this is hardly a smart buy.
ViewSonic XG2703-GS
Could be a good deal but the Acer Predator XB271HU Is probably a slightly better choice and is already at £599
That's for the Euro. Which hasn't lost value as much the pound has. 850 Evo on Amazon UK See how the price has been rising since the end of June (Brexit), well before the holidays. Your point is still valid, I would say it's a bit of both.
There's also three for sale in the Amazon warehouse for only £268.46, which is a fantastic price. Find them here.
There's currently 3 on Amazon Warehouse too, £183 with free prime shipping. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B06XNRQHG4/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used
Thanks! Same price on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06WP5YCX6
Sapphire Nitro+ on Amazon.fr for 200 Eur, not sure how much shipping and conversion etc etc costs turn out to be, but should be cheaper, plus a better card
However you do not get games buying from there.
https://www.amazon.fr/Sapphire-Nitro-Graphique-Radeon-Express/dp/B071Y7CKM2/
RGB tho
G.SKILL F4-3200C16D-16GTZR Trident Z RGB Series 16 GB (8 GB x 2) DDR4 3200 MHz PC4-25600 CL16 Dual Channel Memory Kit - Black with full length RGB LED light bar https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MTDEYHU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_HfDfAbD5QPFZK
You can save an extra £12 if you go with the SanDisk Plus 480GB !
Awaiting for this ram to come back in stock, and this is a relatively good deal...
Yep, I actually got mine off Amazon, not sure why I linked Newegg.
Amazon prices.
This is actually cheaper than the LPX non-RGB version.
CamelCamelCamel graph
As you can see though, it's only going down so if you are looking at buying it may be worth just waiting until you actually need it. But at this price it would be an excellent upgrade for any computer with limited SSD space or no SSD - I got a 500GB (£115.99) for my Macbook and it's sooo much faster.
Is £69 a good price for a 500GB SSD? this is one part that I've never looked into.
Yeah I just searched 500GB SSD on amazon and found another for £63 and a 480GB SSD for £55, this price doesn't seem special, is there something I'm missing?
Is the Acer GN246HLBbid 24 inch a good monitor? Some places say the colour is a little washed out. Just looking for a 144hz monitor seeing as I have a gtx 1060 on the way this weekend and want to upgrade. I see some other people have suggested some 144hz monitors but just wondered if there's any others hidden away.
edit: snatched it up for £135. Now i'll see ALL the frames
That's not Micron E-die. E-die includes
AES
at the end of the model number, the one you linked containsBES
which is D-Die.u/WhatYouSeeIsText You should get the newer version linked on the same page, it's worth the extra ~£3.
Here's the link to the Sapphire Nitro 8GB RX580 at £157 (£5 postage as well so £162 in total) https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-11265-01-20G-Radeon-back plate-Graphics/dp/B071Y7CKM2
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-11265-01-20G-Radeon-backplate-Graphics/dp/B071Y7CKM2
It’s £224, and I’ll probably just get it. Might as well, right?
same price as amazon - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06XRFNWHK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1
I'd personally pay £10 more for some E-die memory which will easily OC to 3600 CL16 for when you upgrade to Zen 2.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07MGPH9R9/ref=dp_ob_neva_mobile
If you're willing to overclock, I'll throw out the obligatory recommendation for the Crucial Ballistix Sport, specifically one of the 3000cl15 or 3200cl16 variants with 'AES' in the model number such as this. Uses Micron E-die, which people regularly get to 3600+ at cl16 or even 14 on Ryzen, quite a few topics regarding this RAM if you want to look into it.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0134EW7G8/ref=twister_B07DPGX5CV?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
The additional £20 is worth it for 3000MHz those on Ryzen Systems
Amazon have matched this, just look at the more buying choices.

You can order 2 sticks of these for cheaper from amazon.de. I ordered some yesterday with standard delivery and they arrived today. I used Starling and was charged £69.58. https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07MGPH9R9?ref_=pe_3044161_248799201_302_E_DDE_dt_1
Similarly there's a 750GB SSD going for around £110 for prime day sales. Crucial gets a really bad rap for its SSD but this one is actually decent.

It's difficult to find a brand new Acer Predator XB271HU IPS in stock in the UK, I have only been able to find pre-orders or overpriced options

Price has gone back up to £108. That was one hell of a deal. For those that missed theres this but they are out of stock at the moment :

No it is not, 55% sale is bullshit, in fact - regular price on amazon de is cheaper:

The 2400Mhz version is at the same price
Edit: The 2400Mhz is at 1.65 volts while the 2133Mhz is at 1.6 volts. I'm not sure but I won't be surprised if they are actually the same RAM stick just 2400Mhz is overclocked. Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know much about RAM overclocking.
27" 165Hz G-sync IPS, £366, bargain!

Or £405 with no dead pixels, still cheap.
Unfortunately I bought one 2 months ago at a much higher price :(
