Before someone says it, sanitary napkins or tampons are NOT the best thing for bullet wounds. I will copy and paste the post that I keep have to do every few weeks when reddit inevitably starts jerkin that circle:

If you have to improvise a wound dressing for gunshot and all you have are tampons, then yes. Stuff SEVERAL in the wound to compress the surrounding tissues and stifle bleeding/promoting coagulation.

THE REAL step number one for any severe bleeding is call 911 (or for medevac depending on your circumstances), then apply direct pressure, preferably with barriers like gloves, goggles, and mask in between you and the injured persons blood.

Tampons are not made to absorb the amount of flow that comes out of a GSW, and they are not sterile. Again they would not be the first choice for a GSW, but better than nothing.

First choice would be properly preparing by ordering these products and placing them in your first aid kid and/or range bag.

  1. First Aid Kit This one is adequate for multi-day trips and as a base to build on.

  2. Tourniquet Adequate, learn how to use it, and practice one-handed in case of disabling injury.

  3. Celox Injector for Penetrating Injury Good for stabs and very large pokes as well as GSW.

  4. Chest Seals Good for sucking chest wound to treat/prevent collapsed lungs.

Above all, learn and know First Aid and CPR, use the four (five) firearms safety rules, and avoid situations in which gunfire might be exchanged.

If you have any questions I will be happy to answer them.

Update: I have added a new catch-all container for my new deli/bakery additions: the plastic deli tray. It comes with a fitted lid.

Think something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Dart-Clear-Hinged-Plastic-Container/dp/B072QZD883/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1506713994&sr=8-13&keywords=commercial+disposable+food+container

but rather than a hinge, it has a removable clear lid with an opaque black base. And obviously in multiple sizes [just like paper wrapper is one size fits all and plastic bag is one size fits all]

Care to list those with real-life equivalents? I already filed the NV goggles which are 10-100x overbudget but most of the really high-cost ones would require a large hall of machines to accomplish or might be completely impossible due to RL physics.

The "mini-flamethrower" has a completely ridiculous name but actually is pretty close to the Looftlighter grill blowtorch. Compared to what you could accomplish with a regular lighter it's also an order of magnitude out of whack but I actually fault the lighter for many regular in-game cases (i.e. setting a bush ablaze long enough to harm a dog standing in it)

Edit: the flashlight CBM is in the reasonable range. 1 kJ every 25 turns equals 6.7W in-game. This Maglite advertises 80h runtime on 3 D batteries which works out to about 1W while this high-power "tactical" flashlight thankfully spells out its power consumption explicitly for once and guzzles 11.2W. Both use LEDs so an order-of-magnitude reduction is implausible.

I feel like for the money to buy the keyboard you could buy a used laptop and just use that.

This game will run on 10+ year-old computers.
Also the android version is way way out of date, you could play the newer versions as they come out.

Oh god the encumbrance. Imagine wearing 3 of these at once.

Usually the bigger axes like the fire axe and the wood axe.

I always thought any axe should be able to be clipped to the firefighter belt at least.

Here is a good example of exactly what I'm thinking about.

This is the one I use with the 10" I like it because it has the full numpad, but it's a small light board.

The smaller one I use with the 8 came with the case. It's made by Fintie:

You have two options: Learn 'hjkl', or get yourself one of these

I found this which is what I imagine the in-game item to be.

The figures seem a little off if they're going for realism.

EG:

Typical Drill battery as linked to in post is 63 WattHours (18V 3.5Ah) and a typical Heavy pack (2x NiMH D battery) would be around 15-30 WattHours (3V 5-10Ah) depending on manufacturer.

To get to KiloJoules just multiply that by 3.6 which would give you:

Medium (2x NiMH C battery) =27 - 54 charges

Heavy (2x NiMH D battery) = 54 -108 charges

Heavy+ - cordless drill = 226.8 charges

Now using a smartphone battery as an example of a light battery is interesting, because all smartphones use different battery tech to the other examples. They use lithium batteries which have a higher voltage per cell and generally have higher energy density so for example using a samsung S8 battery you'd have:

3.7V 3.0Ah = 11.1 Watthours 3.6 = 40 Charges.

Anyway I know you said you didn't want to get into that, I just wanted to add in some more or less correct numbers just in case.

Edit//
Forgot to add in a typical watch battery such as :https://www.amazon.co.uk/Duracell-376-377-Watch-Battery/dp/B00E2QZ7HY

That would be about 0.018 WattHours, or 0.0648 Charges.

> how many copies of Book of the SubGenius

I have one.

There's plenty of places to order it.

Including from the Church itself.

Hell, I have 3 print copies of the Principia Discordia.
