FABER FABER
I would start with Arnold Schoenberg's Fundamentals of Musical Composition and Theory of Harmony by the same author. The former is more of a slow-reading reference with examples for study and replication. The latter is a dense and thought-provoking page turner.
None of my works have been recorded. The best I could do is to post a PDF of some of them if you're interested in having a look at them.
Broken Flesh- Self-Titled
Broken Flesh has emerged onto the scene and has started to wake people up to the fact that Christian music can be brutal. With ex-members of Obliteration and Becoming the Archetype, they have put together an album that will break you. The self-titled album comes flying out of the gate and never slows down. This is how you play brutal death metal. Heavy crushing riffs with interesting bursts of solos and great growls. It's relentless. I would say that this album can help get Christian death metal back on track as it is a shining example of how to excel at a genre while praising God. It's a bit of fresh air to hear some slamming brutal death metal not talk about disgusting things but talk about our fallen condition in a redemptive manner.
This album is not only a contender for Christian metal album of the year, but metal album of the year against all other metal bands. Yet again we have a band showing that Christians can play great music. Check them out and support these guys. http://www.amazon.com/Broken-Flesh-BROKEN-FLESH/dp/B0106W5XBW/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1450698198&sr=1-1&keywords=Broken+Flesh
Oh I have about 10 hours of Christmas metal. More than I have time to list. In 2014 I released a 2-disc Christmas metal compilation though with a little over 30 songs on it.
