This Newly released LIMITED EDITION classic edition is beautifully illustrated by acclaimed artist Charles SantoreThe #1, all-time, Christmas book - a classic children's book, bound in red genuine leather to last a lifetimeEmbossed with colorful hand-stamp details on the coverThis will become a keep...
In a stocking? Toy blocks or the like, unwrapped and placed into the sock individually. I wouldn't be thinking in terms of a stocking because many items won't fit.
With my kids, I didn't give much the first couple Christmases because I looked at the lifespan of the toys. Like, if It's October and my kid could handle this toy today, then by waiting until Christmas I'm knocking two months off the usefulness of a toy that may only be played with for 12 months (or whatever).
Books are always a good choice. Everywhere Babies was our favorite, with my kids wanting it read to them through at least age 3 because it's all about how parents love their kids. And the rhyming is well done. The linked version is a larger format board book. When I tossed out our well-deteriorated copy years later, my wife made me buy another one for herself. Here's a read-through.
Edit: My wife saw me with the video open and began reciting the first several pages to me.
Yeah, if you hear Christmas music to soon, it is just not special anymore when it should be. So last year I startet hearing some Christmas music on the 100. day before Christmas, and then only every tenth day. So I looked forward to every tenth day hearing it, and it was still special. Don't know, maybe this year I am strong enough to wait for November :D
I just have to look some up. I read them in German, so I have to look for the english version :D Last year I really loved the The Christmas Cookie Club i also love The Christmas Train, but that has some romance if I recall correctly. So I have some more, if you want I can look some more up on monday, as I am not home the next days :D
I'm psyched for this. It looks like a great new twist on A Christmas Carol. If you are interested in the different film adaptations of the story over the years, I highly recommend Fred Guida's book.
I just saw this one in a store and it looked pretty cute. Also, the music stops when you press the button again, which is, as any parent knows, a huge bonus!
My all time favourties are the Daniel Handler/Lemony Snicket books. The Latke Who Couldn't Stop Screaming was the first, followed by The Lump Of Coal.
For the classic, a beautifully illustrated version of Twas The Night Before Christmas is a must, as is How The Grinch Stole Christmas, of course. :)
As a librarian, I cheer Santa for wanting to read to the kids.
Give these a spin:
Pete the Cat Saves Christmas
Pete the Cat's 12 Groovy Days of Christmas
Mrs. Claus Takes the Reins
Elfie the Elf
The Magic of Friendship Snow
How to Catch an Elf
If you believe in the religious aspects of Christmas, I’d recommend the The Santa Club by Kelly Moss. It does a really good job at explaining who St. Nicholas was and how there are now millions of Santa’s.
theres a book that uses physics and science to porve santa exists its call the indisputible existence of santa claus. great read.

Here is the companion cookbook. It's hardcover, and I think it's pretty nifty to own even for someone that isn't an awesome cook.
It's leather bound from Barnes and Noble, and you can get it there or Amazon for $3.99 + tax right now: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/1435149106/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1467646595&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=a+christmas+carol+barnes+and+noble&dpPl=1&dpID=51A0a-j4zYL&ref=plSrch
I really enjoyed "Christmas Bells" by Jennifer Chiaverini and "Mr. Dickens and His Carol" by Samantha Silva.
