As a followup, if you want to get some self study in this is hands down the best pure German grammar book for people with prior language exposure.
I ran through the second edition and it was a great reinforcer/teacher for a lot of grammatical structures. I wouldn’t recommend it as a primary learning source, but it’s an awesome supplement.
Paper. My favorite: reinforced unruled filler paper, like this.

I think PHYS 3007 uses Griffiths Introduction to Electrodynamics but I'm not entirely sure. Also I'm not sure which edition.
